Wild Scenes at Cardi B’s Fan Meet & Greet — Twerking, Choking, and More Allowed!

Cardi B is giving fans more than just a listen to her new album, but a full on personal experience that will last them a lifetime. Since dropping Am I The Drama? on Sept. 19, the Bronx icon has been hitting the road with a series of album roll out initiatives, including meet-and-greets.

Videos from the events have already gone viral, giving Chris Brown’s fan meet and greets a run for their money. In one memorable moment, Cardi is seen playfully choking a male fan — a move she recreated for a female fan who requested to look as if Cardi was aggressively lifting her off the ground.

One dedicated fan showed up in full crow cosplay, matching the aesthetic of her latest album cover, while another brought a detailed toy wooden replica of Cardi — complimented with pictures of her kids engraved on the figurine’s box.

Adding another layer to all of the excitement, Cardi participated in each meeting fully pregnant with her fourth child by NFL star Stefon Diggs. At one location Cardi stood atop a platform hovering over a sea of her fans with a bullhorn, as she thanked her Bardi Gang for their support. In another video, she spoke to her fans on a microphone about her album, and vowed to be there “all day” to meet each and every one of them.

Within 24 hours of its release, Am I The Drama? was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America, fueled by previously released hits like “WAP” featuring Megan Thee Stallion and “Up.” The album arrives seven years after her Grammy-winning debut Invasion of Privacy, which is now 6x platinum.
