Cardi B Gets Candid on PR Nightmares: ‘I Be Pulling My Own Hair Out!’

The ‘Am I the Drama’ rapper spoke candidly with Alex Cooper on ‘Call Her Daddy’ podcast about how these PR crises make her feel.

As expected, Cardi B did not hold back in her interview with Alex Cooper on Call Her Daddy.

When asked to name the worst PR crisis she has ever been in, Cardi quickly reacted, “Ughhh.” After the two shared a laugh, she continued, “It’s so many.”

Cooper complimented the Am I the Drama? rapper for handling those moments “with grace,” to which Cardi responded, “With grace?! I be pulling my pussy hairs out. They be stressing me out. They want to cancel me.”

“They want to cancel me, and it’s just like, I don’t mean no harm,” she added.

Cardi went on to bring up accusations of body-shaming her fans last month after she made a remark on Instagram Live about the Am I the Drama? x WWE box set containing 3XL-sized shirts that was sold out in 20 minutes. “So the box sets are completely sold out, especially because you fat fucks—clearly you guys are fat as fuck, no Chick-fil-A for y’all,” she said.

Cardi even tried to get ahead of the accusations at the time.

“Now, knowing that my fans is fat—I can’t even make fun of fat people no more,” she added. “Don’t call me fatphobic, y’all, ‘cause everybody make fun of my BBL.”

Cardi fired back at people body-shaming her in a video posted on Instagram five years ago after receiving negative comments regarding her appearance in a series of photos of herself in a bikini.

Cardi concluded by setting the record straight with Cooper and everyone watching that she is not fatphobic.

“Now they’re saying I hate fat people, and it’s like, do you think I wake up, like, I hate fat people! I hate them. I hate them. I hate them,” she said. “What the fuck? Are you serious?”

The conversation starts at the 11:30 mark in the video up top.
