Megan Thee Stallion Confesses to Deceiving Gayle King About Tory Lanez.

In her new documentary, “In Her Words,” Megan Thee Stallion acknowledged lying to Gayle King about whether or not she had slept with Tory Lanez.

Indeed, bitch. Bitch, I said a lie to Gayle King. To begin with, I had no idea that bitch would even ask me about that s–t. In the recently published Amazon Prime documentary, she stated, “I thought we were going to talk about this shooting.”

Megan Thee Stallion admitted she lied to Gayle King about whether she slept with Tory Lanez in her new documentary, “In Her Words.”

You’re asking me about f–king Tory, but why? That isn’t the point of this. Even if I was On a night when I was intoxicated, I f–ked that n–a at least once. I couldn’t get you out of my f–king head.

In April 2022, the “Hot Girl Summer” rapper, 29, sat down for an interview with King, 69, on “CBS Mornings” to talk about the shooting and whether or not she and the Canadian rapper, 32, were more than friends.

“Yes, bitch. I lied to Gayle King, bitch,” she said on the newly released Amazon Prime doc.

“I f–ked that n–a like once, maybe twice on a drunk night,” she added.

“What was the nature of your relationship with Tory Lanez because he has led people to believe that it was a 𝓈ℯ𝓍ual relationship … that you two were dating? What was the nature?” the famed journalist asked an emotional Megan.

The “Savage” emcee replied at the time, “We were not dating. We were really close, we were friends. We hung out, like, every day.”

Megan shared that she felt like she and Lanez, born Daystar Shemuel Shua Peterson, were “bonding” over the fact that they both had lost their mothers.

“Did you have an intimate relationship with him?” King asked again, to which the Houston rapper responded, “Like 𝓈ℯ𝓍ual? Umm, I didn’t have a 𝓈ℯ𝓍ual relationship with Tory.”

In April 2022, the “Hot Girl Summer” rapper sat down for an interview with King on “CBS Mornings.”

During that interview, Megan said she and Lanez were “really close” but were not intimate.

Megan then said she believed Lanez tried to “deflect from the fact that he committed a crime” by telling the public they had slept together.

Following her confession, Ceasar McDowell, CEO of Unite the People, the nonprofit law firm that reps Lanez told TMZ, “The fact that Megan lied about her 𝓈ℯ𝓍ual relationship with Tory obviously makes her an unreliable witness. If someone lies in front of millions of people, how can you trust what they say any other time?”

However, Megan previously admitted during Lanez’s shooting trial in December 2022 that she did have 𝓈ℯ𝓍 with the former “Quarantine Radio” host but did not disclose that information to King because she was embarrassed that someone she shared her “body with” could harm her.

The “Say It” rapper was found guilty of shooting Megan in the foot during an altercation in July 2020.

The “Say It” rapper was found guilty of shooting Megan in the foot during an altercation in July 2020.

In August 2023, Lanez was sentenced to 10 years in prison for the shooting.

He received a 10-year prison sentence for the shooting in August 2023.

Lanez persisted in claiming innocence following his sentencing.

“I have never let adversity to scare me, and I will never allow incarceration to destroy me. In an Instagram post at the time, he stated, “I have always maintained my innocence and I always will, regardless of how they spin my words.”

He acknowledged that he “took responsibility for all verbal and intimate moments that I shared with the parties involved,” but he did not express regret for the offenses he was falsely convicted of—in any way, shape, or form.

Drake Backs Down: Admits iHeartMedia Did Nothing Wrong in Settlement

Drake had accused iHeartMedia of accepting illegal payola payments from UMG to boost the radio airplay of Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” diss. One of the most unexpected developments in the Kendrick Lamar and Drake battle was that it evolved from a question of ‘Who won the battle?’ to ‘Who won the lawsuit?’ However, Drizzy has one less target on his list, as he settled a legal petition against iHeartMedia over the Kendrick diss track “Not Like Us.” Basically, he claimed back in November that Universal Music Group (UMG) made illegal payola payments to iHeart in order to artificially boost radio airplay for the West Coast banger. A court filing in Texas’ Bexar County confirmed this settlement, and an alleged iHeart source reportedly spoke to Rolling Stone on the matter. “In exchange for documents that showed iHeart did nothing wrong, Drake agreed to drop his petition. No payments were made – by either one of us,” the iHeartMedia source explained. The court documents did not specify this, however. “Petitioner and iHeartMedia, Inc. have reached an amicable resolution of the dispute to the satisfaction of both sides,” they read. “We are pleased that the parties were able to reach a settlement satisfactory to both sides and have no further comment on this matter,” the Toronto superstar’s team stated separately to iHeart’s comments. Why Is Drake Suing UMG? Despite this move, Drake is moving forward in his UMG lawsuit, specifically alleging that the label and distributor – which he and Kendrick are both under – engaged in defamatory practices. While K.Dot is not a defendant in this suit, the core of the argument specifically portrays his accusations of pedophilia against the OVO mogul as defamatory. The January filing accuses UMG of artificially boosting the track’s commercial performance and engaging in defamatory campaigns on social media through its promotion. Furthermore, UMG faces a March 16 deadline if they want to file a motion to dismiss. They already denied any and all of Drake’s claims. Through his since-settled iHeartMedia petition, he sought to orally depose iHeart corporate employees, and filed the petition to secure more factual information to determine whether to move forward with more accusations in addition to defamation. Aubrey Graham’s team is also calling UMG out for attempting to delay the case despite their ample time to prepare.
