On Saturday, the Sky reportedly hired Tyler Marsh, an assistant with the Las Vegas Aces, as their next head coach.

The news became official on Sunday, but Reese didn’t waste time sharing her thoughts on the then-reported hire, writing on X, “W.”

That caused Aces star Sydney Colson to reply to the post, “Excuse me?! We’re grieving, have some respect!”

Then, Reese said to her, “Sorry but your time is UP. It’s our turn! I’ll send you some tissue tho sister girl unless you want to come join this side too.”

Colson wasn’t the only Aces player to reply to Reese.

“Like give us a day. Dang,” small forward Alysha Clark said to Reese.

Reese replied, “snatchiessssss… sorry not sorry sis.”

When the Sky announced the firing of Weatherspon, Reese wrote on X, “I’m heartbroken. I’m literally lost for words knowing what this woman meant to me at such a pivotal point in my life.”

“She was the only person that believed in me. The one that trust me…. You were such an unsung hero in my life.

“We built a relationship in a short amount of time that will last forever.”

Reese ended her message by saying that Witherspoon “didn’t deserve” losing her job and thanked her.

The Sky finished with a league-worst 13-27 record.

Reese suffered a season-ending wrist injury and guard Chennedy Carter missed numerous games due to injury and illness.
