Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas looked amazing as they attended the 2023 Met Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday evening, the first time they have been at the event since they welcomed daughter Malti last year.
Jonas, 30, and Chopra, 40, looked affectionate as they posed with one another at the high-profile proceedings in the Big Apple.
The Citadel actress donned a strapless black Valentino gown with a slit up the thigh to the proceedings.
She paired it with a black-and-white tufted cape that was linked to white opera gloves she donned to the upscale gathering.
The Jamshedpur, India-born beauty rounded out her ensemble with black platform heels and accessorized with a silver chain necklace and a crystal blue pendant.

Chopra told Vogue she was clad in a ‘bespoke Bulgari piece’ that came in at about 11.6 karats.
Jonas looked sharp at the gala donning a black leather blazer over a white dress shirt with black pants and a black tie with a clip affixed to it.
The celebrity couple have past attended the event twice, in 2017 and 2019, making headlines for the former as they were a guest of designer Ralph Lauren.
Chopra, appearing on Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast in March, said that they attended the event with one another at the time because they ‘we were both single-ish.’
She continued: ‘We were both going with Ralph Lauren and they said, “You know, we have sort of couples. Would you like to just go together?” Both of us said yes.’
The pair emerged publicly with their romance in 2018, getting engaged in July and married that December at a palace in Jodhpur, India.
They are parents to daughter Malti, who they welcomed in January 15, 2022 via a surrogate. The child, who was born prematurely, spent more than 100 days in an NICU unit before her parents took her home.
On the red carpet, Jonas told Vogue about his ensemble, inspired by the Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty theme: ‘I think the black and white is a classic Karl look. You know, we’re trying to play with a few of the jewels as well, obviously … so I got a few of my own.’

The pair was among a number of stars attending the annual fundraising event, with everyone from Kim Kardashian to Paris Hilton slated to be there.
Since 1948, stars have ascended the majestic staircase into a very exclusive party where no selfies are allowed.
In keeping with tradition, the event will be held on the first Monday of May. This year, the ball’s theme is Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty. The late German designer was Chanel’s long-time creative director.
He passed at age 85 in 2019, and his beloved cat, Choupette, was invited to the festivities.
The decision to honor Karl has sparked controversy given the many offensive remarks he has made over the years, from slamming the #MeToo movement to opposing same-𝓈ℯ𝓍 marriage.
‘I’m against it for a very simple reason: In the 60s they all said we had the right to the difference. And now, suddenly, they want a bourgeois life,’ he told Vice of same-𝓈ℯ𝓍 marriage.
‘It’s difficult to imagine – one of the papas at work and the other at home with the 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢. How would that be for the 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢? I don’t know.’
Lagerfeld continued: ‘I see more lesbians married with babies than I see boys married with babies. And I also believe more in the relationship between mother and child than in that between father and child.’
Getting ready: Priyanka took to Instagram as she documented her beauty regime ahead of the event as luxury brand FaceGym sculpted her skin before she applied her glam make-up

While he ultimately showed his support for same-𝓈ℯ𝓍 marriage at his spring 2013 Chanel haute couture show, he still said he was ‘less keen’ on same-𝓈ℯ𝓍 couples adopting children, according to AP.
Along with the Vogue editor-in-chief, Anna Wintour, who runs and hosts the annual event, the 2023 MET Gala will also be co-hosted by Penelope Cruz, Dua Lipa, Michaela Coel and also Roger Federer.
While the show may be known for its glitzy and over-the-top red carpet – with details of what occurs inside often remaining mysterious – at its heart, it is a fundraising event for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute.
Last year, the 2022 MET Gala alone raised a grand total of $17.4 million, reported Billboard.
This year the price of admission has been raised from $30,000 to $50,000, according to Page Six.
