The actress shared a series of funny snaps of her Santa Claus-shaped cookies before and after they’d been in the oven

Blake Lively isn’t afraid to laugh at her baking mishaps!

On Monday, Nov. 25, the actress, 37, shared her attempt at making Christmas cookies on her Instagram Stories and poked fun at the hilarious end result.

Reposting food blogger Tieghan Gerard’s photo of Christmas cookies, which featured dough shaped into mini Santa Clauses, Lively wrote, “@halfbakedharvest kindly reminding me of my biggest cookie failure.”

The It Ends With Us star then shared a video of the process of making her own Christmas cookies.

In the clip, dough shaped into mini Santa Clauses could be seen laid out on a baking sheet before going into the oven.

After baking, however, the cookies had lost their shape and merged into one giant cookie.

“@halfbakedharvest made me do it,” Lively’s caption read.

“But there’s hope for me yet,” she pluckily continued in another snap.

The Gossip Girl alum is no stranger to baking for the holidays. In 2022, she shared photos of homemade cookies that were shaped into Christmas trees, an ornate snowflake and a single candy cane.

In July this year, she also showed off more of her baking s𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁s when she made raspberry crumble by using ingredients fresh from the outdoors.

“… I made this raspberry crumble today with raspberries from the bushes … at least I think they were raspberries 😵‍💫☠️🫠,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories at the time.

In the photo, the crumble was captured in a red bowl next to a larger plate that had a slice of the desert that consisted of raspberries, oats, raisins and cream.
