WNBA star Angel Reese revealed that there is a height requirement for the men she dates.
While Chicago Sky standout did not specify how tall one needs to be for her to entertain interest, Reese made it clear that she has not and would not date a ‘short guy.’
Speaking on her Unapologetically Angel podcast, her guest Coco Jones asked the 6-foot-3 forward if she would date a ‘short guy’ before the LSU product shook her head.
‘No. No. I don’t know,’ Reese said. The rebounding machine tried to qualify her response, perhaps leaving the door open to non-towering suitors.
‘I have not [dated guys shorter than me],’ she said. ‘Let me just say I haven’t.’
After slightly retracting, Reese added, ‘I hear short guys treat you better.’

The Chicago Sky forward stands at 6-foot-3 and previously shared her height preferences
‘They have a lot to prove,’ the 5-foot-9 Jones replied after noting she has dated shorter men.
Reese’s height preference was previously discussed in September when she named a minimum four-inch difference as the requirement.
The 22-year-old formerly dated 6-foot-7 Florida State forward, Cam’Ron Fletcher, before Reese confirmed their split in March. After returning to the dating pool, Reese spoke about what she looks for while scouting for her next boyfriend.
‘Nah, he gotta be tall,’ the then-rookie said on her podcast. ‘Six-seven, six-eight.’
‘Yeah, NBA,’ Reese added, prompting co-host Mariah the Scientist to think about who she can link the power forward to.
‘I don’t know too many of them,’ the singer said. ‘I’m going to make a call. I’m gonna make a call, and I’m gonna have them make a call. And I’m gonna get you a little selection.’
Reese confirmed her relationship with Fletcher in June of 2023 after the pair met over the pandemic. After enjoying trips to Jamaica and New York City together, the pair split, which Reese confirmed on her Instagram.
‘Yeah, I’m single,’ she told her 2.7 million followers. ‘I don’t got no man. Don’t attach me to no man. That’s all I’mma say. That’s it.’
Reese wrapped up her rookie campaign averaging 13.6 points, 13.1 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game. Her dominance on the paint made Reese the WNBA leader in rebounds and earned her a spot in the 2024 WNBA All-Rookie Team.
