‘And I think maybe it’s the quarterback in him because he’s big on leadership, big on teamwork, big on being together,’ she explained of her husband, who plays for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
She added: ‘I really feel grateful for our ability to communicate with each other.’
‘Not going to bed mad,’ she added. ‘That is really important. So far we’ve never done that.’
‘And dating each other,’ she added. ‘You have to keep dating each other.’
Ciara said they’ve become ‘committed’ to date nights to avoid getting complacent.

She admitted she struggled juggling ‘mommy guilty’ with nourishing her relationship.
‘I have learned, I think for all for all of us mommas, we are about our babies. I am about my babies all day. And my husband knows that and respects that and loves that and he’s about them too. But also too we have to be about us. And that’s hard sometimes I think for us, like mommy guilt is real.
‘Sometimes I feel, am I balancing my world right? Even for myself. I’m actually looking forward to going out, him taking me out, picking a restaurant… It’s so fun. I’m always looking forward to that. And I think it keeps things fresh. And I just feel so blessed that we have that.’
