NJZ (NewJeans) have come under fire for their allegedly close relationship with a fan.

Following the court decision accepting ADOR’s application for an injunction against the members to “preserve the status of the agency and prohibit the signing of advertising contracts,” NJZ have been the focus of much attention.

Now, netizens’ focus has shifted to the alleged relationship between the group and a fan.

On March 22, images shared by a fan account began circulating online. The images showed photos of the fan alongside NJZ’s Hanni and Danielle and screenshots of conversations, including one in which they planned to meet in November near the HYBE building.

The fan, said to be around 30, also appears to have interacted with Min Hee Jin and received gifts from the group.

Following the “exposure” of their interactions, the fan apologized for any harm they may have caused to NJZ. They also claimed that there were no further interactions like that between them and the group.

In a viral post with details about the situation, netizens shared their surprise over NJZ’s contact with a fan, with some even expressing disgust.

Wow, this is really the end of the line for me. This is totally different from other scandals. I can understand being friendly with regular fans, but being all buddy-buddy with a fan who runs a hate account for bashing other idols? Are you crazy? Wow, seriously?
