Pirates of the Caribbean Cast: Then and Now (2003 vs 2024)

Starting with Zoe Saldaña, who was just 24 years old when she appeared in the film, she has now matured into a 45-year-old powerhouse in Hollywood, continuing to captivate audiences with her performances. Jeffrey Rush, who played the unforgettable Captain Hector Barbossa, was 51 during filming and is now 72, showcasing the enduring talent that has made him a household name.

Isaac C. Singleton Jr., known for his role as the fearsome pirate, was 35 in 2003 and is now 56, while David Bailey, who unfortunately passed away in 2021 at the age of 83, was 65 at the time of the film’s release. The legacy of these characters continues to resonate, even as time marches on.

Kevin McNally, who portrayed Gibbs, was 47 when he first graced the screen and is now 68, reminding fans of his unwavering presence in the franchise. Daman O’Hare was just 25 years old in 2003 and is now 46, while Vanessa Branch, who played the beautiful but deadly pirate, transitioned from 30 to 51, demonstrating the passage of time in the industry.

McKenzie Crook, known for his quirky role as Ragetti, was 31 at the time and is now 52, while Johnny Depp, the face of Captain Jack Sparrow, was 40 during the film’s initial release and is now 61, remaining a central figure in the saga with his dynamic career.

Lucinda Dryzek, who was just an 11-year-old child actress in the film, has blossomed into a 32-year-old woman, while Jonathan Pryce, who played Governor Weatherby Swann, has transitioned from 56 to 77, illustrating the enduring impact of his role. Keira Knightley, who stole hearts as Elizabeth Swann, was merely 18 at the time and is now 39, while Orlando Bloom, who brought Will Turner to life, has aged from 26 to 47, both exemplifying how the franchise has shaped their careers.
