On March 29, fans from the Kim Soo Hyun Gallery on DC Inside issued a statement, saying, “As the recent controversy surrounding Kim Soo Hyun continues to grow, fans do not take the situation lightly and emphasize the need for a cautious attitude and responsible clarification.”

They continued, “Through multiple reports, a series of details about his past personal relationships have emerged, and the related public and private matters have become the center of public attention. As specific materials such as messages and photos have been disclosed, which contradict previous statements, the public’s confusion and concern are only deepening.”

The fans especially emphasized “We remember well Kim Soo Hyun’s sincere acting career, his warm image, and the comfort and inspiration he has given to the public. Therefore, at this moment, we sincerely hope he will personally come forward to clarify the facts and clearly state his position in front of the public”, formally urging him to hold a press conference.

Meanwhile, the YouTube channel Garo Sero Institute recently claimed that Kim Soo Hyun and the late actress Kim Sae Ron had been in a romantic relationship from 2016 for about six years.

At that time, Kim Soo Hyun was 28 years old and Kim Sae Ron was only 16, leading to suspicions of an underage relationship.

According to Kim Sae Ron’s family, she signed an exclusive contract with Kim Soo Hyun’s agency Gold Medalist in 2020 at his recommendation. However, after Kim Sae Ron’s DUI incident in 2022, the contract was terminated. During the process of settling the incident, she had to repay 700 million KRW to Gold Medalist, and her family stated she suffered immense psychological distress. They further claimed that Kim Sae Ron had sent a desperate message to her former lover Kim Soo Hyun, saying, “I’m not saying I won’t pay it back, but if you’re asking me to come up with 700 million KRW immediately, I really can’t. Do we really have to go to court? Please save me. I’m begging you. Please give me some time.” However, Kim Soo Hyun did not respond.

Regarding this, Kim Soo Hyun’s side denied the allegations, stating, “Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron dated from the summer of 2019 to the fall of 2020, after she became an adult. The claim that Kim Soo Hyun dated Kim Sae Ron while she was underage is completely untrue.” However, Garo Sero Institute continues to release messages allegedly exchanged between the two, while Kim Soo Hyun’s side has yet to provide any additional response.
