Robert Irwin Reveals If He’d Want to Be the Next Bachelor
Bachelor Nation fans are watching Season 2 of “The Golden Bachelor” unfold each week, and we’re also watching the new season of “Dancing with the Stars” in which former Bachelor Joey Graziadei is their current reigning Mirrorball winner.
Amid all the excitement, wildlife conservationist and current “DWTS” contestant Robert Irwin has had Bachelor Nation buzzing as he recently revealed he’s looking for love.
In an online interview with E! News that went viral, Robert shared, “We are still looking for the American girl.”
The eligible Bachelor revealed the qualities he’s looking for in a partner, stating, “I think more than anything else, just genuine kindness. And that’s so important. I think you need to surround yourself with people who are genuinely kind and also my life is a whirlwind. It’s an adventure and I would love to be able to share that with someone and to share those little moments.”
Robert continued and expressed that he knows his person is out there, saying, “I have a lot of great role models in the love department and a lot of people I look up to and go, wow you guys are couples’ goals! So I want to find that, but it’s something you kind of can’t rush. It just has to happen and you got to be open to that. I know she’s out there and I look forward to it.”
Fans immediately filled the comments, suggesting that he should become the next Bachelor.
And this week, Robert shared in another interview if being the Bachelor is something he would be interested in.
While responding to the question, Robert revealed, “Hey, all I can say is… stranger things have happened. Who knows.”
His dance partner Witney Carson chimed in and shut down the idea saying that he needs to focus on dancing.
However, her response only incentivized Robert more and he teased, “Oh, my gosh. We’ll see. Maybe, you know… I want to do it even more now! Now I want to do it, now that I know you don’t want me to do it.”
Will Robert Irwin become the next Bachelor?! Who knows! We do know that he will find his forever person one day, and we love hearing ideas like this — keep them coming!
