Yaya Mayweather Facing Backlash for Dissing Simone Biles’ Husband Jonathan Owens

Yaya Mayweather, the daughter of boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr., is facing backlash after leaving a comment under a photo of Jonathan Owens, the husband of Olympic gymnast Simone Biles. The photo shows Owens arriving at a game dressed in a costume reminiscent of Mary Poppins.

In her comment, Yaya wrote the word “ponk,” which many interpret as a derogatory term implying that Owens is gay. This has raised eyebrows across the internet, with many criticizing her choice of words.
