Serena Williams gave her fans a look into her rigorous fitness routine in a video shared to Instagram on Saturday.

In the clip, the tennis pro, 42, told her 17.1 million followers that she was ‘getting back into the swing of things’ as she performed a set of squats.

The athlete — who recently opened up about taking selfies in the gym — also remarked: ‘This is not my usual weight, but it’ll do until I get back to where I need to be.’

Williams wore a sleeveless black Nike athletic top that showcased her chiseled arms as she worked out.

The Grand Slam champion also wore a matching pair of leggings, and she added a bit of color to her look with a pair of athletic shoes.

Williams’ return to the gym took place just a few days after she concluded a getaway with her husband, Alexis Ohanian, and their daughter Olympia.

The athlete shared a set of images that showed her spending time on a beach with her eldest child, six, during which they jumped and spread their arms.

The former professional tennis player opted for a revealing black swimsuit as she enjoyed Olympia’s company.

Williams and Ohanian, 40, initially met in 2015, and they went on to welcome their eldest daughter in September of 2017.

The happy couple went on to hold a star-studded wedding ceremony in New Orleans of November of that year.

The athlete announced that she was pregnant for the second time last May, and she gave birth to a 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢 girl named Adira in August.

Williams’ husband and daughters have appeared in several videos and photos shared on her Instagram account over the past few years.

The former professional athlete opened up about parenting during a 2022 interview with Business Insider, where she stated that she was very close to her eldest daughter.

‘Mom guilt is real. I always feel so guilty when I’m doing something on my own…I’m very hands-on with my daughter, and it was the same with our parents,’ she said.

Williams then stated that, although she was dedicated to her professional endeavors, her main priority was the well-being of her loved ones.

‘I’ve set really good boundaries, but then after work, I’m going right to my daughter.’
