a class of college students this week, with the Vikings quarterback joking afterwards that the students who got him to come in deserved extra credit.

Cousins, 35, tore his Achilles in Week 8 vs. the Packers and is currently in the process of rehabbing his injury.

And when a recent trip to physical therapy introduced him to two students at Hope College in Michigan, he took them up on their offer to stop by their sports communication class.

‘Two students stopped me after my PT session @ Hope…told me they’d get extra credit if I showed up to class so I had to stop by,’ he wrote on X in response to a photo of the class visit. ‘Professor Gentile, thanks for having me, but now I’m holding you to that extra credit!

Hope College’s official X account shared the picture of the meeting, which featured a smiling Cousins in the back.

‘Thanks for stopping by, @KirkCousins8! Today, our Sports Communication class with Professor Patrick Gentile had an unexpected guest visit their classroom while in town,’ the school wrote.

Cousins is currently rehabbing a torn Achilles, which he suffered in Week 8 vs. the Packers

Cousins will be a free agent at the end of the season after spending the last six seasons in Minnesota.

However, Vikings GM Kwesi Adofo-Mensah said in October after the quarterback’s Achilles injury that ‘every option is still available with Kirk.’

The team deployed veterans Josh Dobbs and Nick Mullens in Cousins’ absence while fifth-round rookie Jaren Hall also saw action as well.

Cousins, who made $30million this past season, has a no-trade clause and also cannot be franchise-tagged.

The Vikings are set to pick 11th in this year’s NFL Draft after finishing this season with a 7-10 record.
