In commemoration of Juneteenth, Kendrick Lamar will be doing a special one-time gig in Los Angeles as a way of giving back to his hometown. The Pop Out — Ken and Friends is the name of the performance, where K-Dot will likely perform on June 19 at the Kia Forum with a few surprise guests.

Lamar’s first performance since his altercation with Drake (which Kendrick won, incidentally) will be at Pop Out — Ken and Friends. In case you missed it, the title of the concert alludes to Kendrick Lamar’s popular diss song, “Not Like Us.” See our comprehensive summary of the Lamar-Drake feud here if you need a refresher on the Great Rap War.

We strongly advise you to attend Kung Fu Kenny’s performance at the Forum on Juneteenth if you’re in Los Angeles. After concluding his nearly two-year Big Steppers Tour, the rapper is probably done touring for the foreseeable future (barring an unexpected cameo at Lollapalooza 2024). This is a brief guide explaining where to purchase tickets for Kendrick Lamar’s Juneteenth event in Los Angeles, where to get the best deals, and what to anticipate.

Kendrick Lamar: The Pop Out — Ken & Friends Details

Kendrick Lamar’s The Pop Out — Ken & Friends concert is set to get underway at 4 p.m. on June 19. It’ll be produced by Free Lunch and pgLang (the latter produced Lamar’s Big Steppers Tour).

Not much has been released about the concert, but Lamar will almost certainly be bringing out some friends, per the title. The “HUMBLE” rapper’s cousin, Baby Keem, was one of the opening acts for Lamar’s recent tour and could be one to look out for at the Juneteenth show. We also wouldn’t be surprised by appearances from Future and/or Metro Boomin, whose March album We Don’t Trust You included the Kendrick-assisted hit “Like That” (the song that kicked off the Lamar-Drake beef).
