Tyson Fury’s Ranking Bombshell: Anthony Joshua Leaps Ahead Before High-Stakes Usyk Rematch!

Tyson Fury’s recent heavyweight misery has gotten worse.

Last month, in his unification match with Oleksandr Usyk in Saudi Arabia, the Wythenshawe warrior fell short of becoming the division’s first undisputed boss in nearly 25 years.

Tyson Fury suffered a heartbreaking defeat to Oleksandr Usyk in their undisputed heavyweight bout.

The Gypsy King has slipped below Anthony Joshua in the WBC’s heavyweight rankings.

The Mexican sanctioning body has Fury at No.2 in their heavyweight rankings

Fury, 35, suffered a split decision defeat to the undefeated Ukrainian, although he was incredibly lucky not to have been stopped in the ninth round.

The Gypsy King is still licking his wounds a month after the desert defeat, although they’ll no doubt start to sting again once he gets a glimpse at the WBC’s latest heavyweight rankings.

The Mexican sanctioning authority has ranked Fury’s British adversary, Anthony Joshua, above of him.

Usyk, the newly crowned WBC heavyweight champion, is at the top of the tree, with AJ ranking below him as the organization’s top heavyweight.

Despite having held the title for more than four years, Fury is ranked second in Mauricio Sulaiman’s list.

Fury’s defeat to Usyk marked the start of his 16-year professional career, during which he has won every belt available.

In a rematch on December 21, the former unified heavyweight champion will have the chance to extract revenge and realize his undisputed goal.

Tyson Fury, a father of seven, has been motivated by the bitter taste of defeat, as seen in a recent Instagram video.

“Back in the gym, as you can see.

“[I’m] counting down the days until I can get my redemption on Usyk.

“December 21 is going to be my time. I’ve done everything in boxing, but I ain’t come back from a loss.

“And I relish it, the chance to redeem myself GET UP.

“December 21 is all me – undisputed heavyweight here I come.”

In his caption, he wrote, “Listen up!” I’ve won everything in boxing, including titles and records.

“But I’ve never had to recover from a loss.

“On December 21st, in Riyadh, the center of the kingdom, the king will recover his throne and become uncontested.

“Usyk, I am coming for you! Prepare for the Gypsy King! The path to atonement is entirely mine.

“I know what I have to do, I saw my shortcomings and best believe I am inevitable.”
