Mark Your Calendars: Anthony Joshua vs Daniel Dubois Fight Date, Ticket Info, and Undercard Announced.

Domestic rivals Joshua and Dubois will fight on September 21 at Wembley Stadium, alongside Liam Smith and Joshua Buatsi.

Anthony Joshua aims to become a three-time heavyweight world champion when he faces Daniel Dubois.

Joshua faced domestic foe Dubois for the first time on Wednesday afternoon, when their world title bout was formally set for September 21. Dubois won the interim IBF belt after knocking out Filip Hrgovic last month, and he has now been promoted to full champion after Oleksandr Usyk renounced his world title, losing his undisputed status.

Dubois has been linked to ‘AJ’ since claiming to have dropped the former two-time world champion during their fight in 2017. No footage of that session has surfaced, but Dubois will attempt to back up his claims by derailing Joshua’s undisputed plans in his big UK return. So here’s everything you need know about the conflict…

When is Anthony Joshua against Daniel Dubois, and what time will it start in the UK?

Joshua vs. Dubois takes place on Saturday, September 21 at Wembley Stadium. The full fight card has yet to be revealed, but the battle is slated to start around 11 p.m. The start time is subject to change based on the outcomes of the undercard.

Who will appear on the Anthony Joshua vs. Daniel Dubois undercard?

Anthony Cacace returns after defeating Joe Cordina last month, facing Josh Warrington in another intriguing match-up. Unbeaten Hamzah Sheeraz will face Tyler Denny, who is likely his toughest challenger to date.

Joshua Buatsi was supposed to face fellow Londoner Anthony Yarde, but he’ll now face Willy Hutchinson of Scotland. Mark Chamberlain, a favorite of Saudi advisor Turki Alalshikh, is back on another Riyadh season card, this time facing Josh Padley.

Quotes corner

Joshua: “I’m not silly, I know the game. We are in the wild, we are a pack of lions and I’ve had to keep my eyes peeled on Daniel and the rest of the heavyweights. Whoever would have been in his seat, I would be ready to fight in September. The goal is getting through a successful training camp and doing what I need to do, then performing on the night. The shiny stuff comes at later date.”

Dubois: “I’m aiming to fight the best and beat the best, AJ has been the king for a long time and on the night I need to become the king-slayer. That’s the goal and mission I have. I’m ready to let my fists do the talking, 100 percent ready to go. I’m going to camp focused and I’m going to train like a beast. Bring it on.”
