Well, the Prince and Princess of Wales are in the spotlight for being the world’s most awkward couple. During the 2023 Royal Ascot, the couple had a weird exchange that was captured in photos and even a video clip. And all we can say is … cringe-worthy.

In the video clip, Kate Middleton is seen stretching out her arm and placing her hand on Prince William. It appears that her hand is placed on his butt.

Prince William then looks down, before awkwardly looking over at Princess Kate. It was giving a look of sheer discomfort.

Spectators, of course, had their share of things to say.

“That facial expression,” someone commented. “Was he sore?”

“I can’t tell by the video whether he is annoyed with her or not,” another person commented. “He keeps his hands together??”
