Saidou Sall had no answer to the up and coming light-heavyweight in Cardiff

JOSH BUATSI scrubbed up perfectly with another win for the Anthony Joshua protege on Saturday night.

The light-heavyweight was running around Cardiff on Friday trying to find a barber he trusted to give him a haircut.

But there was no close shave here as his promising career continued to grow with his fourth win on the spin.

Victim Saidou Sall was dropped for a two count in the first round but insisted it was a slip and didn’t looked hurt but that was soon to change.

Buatsi was showing all his s𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁s in the opening six minutes and snapping Sall’s head back with regular head shots.

Sall’s durability was the perfect platform for Buatsi to show his finesse and power but he will have a headache on Sunday morning after a taking a battering from the Croydon star.

Throughout the fourth round the concerned referee always looked on the cusp of diving in and saving the French fighter.

But Buatsi was allowed to continue his assault and Sall’s nose was gradually spread out across his face – it was a miracle he remained upright and awake for it all.

In the fifth round Buatsi targeted Sall’s body, perhaps convinced his concrete head was not the route to victory.

Between rounds the eager Olympic bronze winner didn’t even sit down as he was so eager to finish with a KO and that showed when he slipped over in the sixth and looked briefly vulnerable.

An onslaught in the final seconds of the fight floored Sall but it was over before Buatsi could finish the job and went to the referee for a clear points win.

No doubt AJ will be on the phone soon to sort out Buatsi’s next fight. And someone better call Sall to check he’s OK.

The Hackney star went to six wins with a textbook third-round win with a furious right hand.

The cruiserweight – who spars AJ in training – kept his opponent at length with a spearing jab with no early signs of his concussive power.

But Williams always looked unlikely to trouble him, especially with the lunging body shots he was hurling aimlessly at the Londoner.

Every thud of leather could be heard inside the silent Cardiff stadium and there wasn’t much noise made in the first round, nor the second as Okolie continued prodding away.

But The Sauce poured it on in the third and fired off a selection of combinations as Williams covered up desperately and absorbed the blows.

And Okolie finished the job with a crushing right hand that dropped Williams and he never looked like beating the ten-count with his cornerman ready with the white towel.
