In her memoir, ‘Unfinished’, Priyanka Chopra revealed how she was once caught by her aunt after hiding a boy in her closet in high school.

Priyanka Chopra revealed details of her first boyfriend

Priyanka Chopra Jonas wrote her memoir, Unfinished, adding another feather to her hat after becoming an author. In the book, she shared some candid and exciting anecdotes about her personal life. In one of the segments, she revealed that she met her first boyfriend, Bob, in Indianapolis during her high school. Priyanka heaped praises on her then-boyfriend and wrote:

“Indianapolis is where I met my first boyfriend. His name was Bob and we both attended North Central High School, where he was in tenth grade. Dating him was definitely a hard flex and I fell for him in a big way. The guy played varsity football, had a really high GPA, and was everything high school dreams were made of.”

Priyanka Chopra recalled how she got caught with a boy

In her book, Priyanka Chopra mentioned how she secretly dated in high school and also got caught. Recalling an incident, she mentioned that her high school boyfriend, Bob, whom she was head over heels in love with, came to see her at her house. However, before she could realise it, her aunt unexpectedly came home before her usual time. So, PeeCee hid her then-beau in her closet as he couldn’t go outside the house. She wrote:

“One day, Bob and I were sitting on the couch watching television, innocently holding hands, when suddenly, outside the window on the sidewalk below, I saw my aunt making her way up the stairs. I panicked. It was 2 in the afternoon and not her usual time to return. There was no way Bob could go outside the house, and he and I ran to my room, and I shoved him into my closet.”

Priyanka thought she could escape her aunt and save her boyfriend from the torture. But she was wrong. As soon as her aunt came home, she inspected the house and asked PeeCee to open the closet. The actress was terrified to see her aunt’s furious avatar, so she opened the door, and her boyfriend got caught. She elaborated:

“She came to my doorway and said ‘Open it’ and I asked her ‘open what.’ ‘Open your closet,’ said my aunt. I was shaken as I have never seen my aunt this angry. I opened the closet door, it was a big mess: a boy came out.”

Priyanka Chopra’s marriage to Nick Jonas

As destiny had it, Priyanka Chopra married American singer, Nick Jonas in December 2018 in not one but two wedding ceremonies. They first said ‘I Do’ in a Christian ceremony, followed by a traditional Indian wedding in Rajasthan. For those unaware, Priyanka is ten years older than Nick. Together, the couple is blessed with a daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, whom they welcomed via surrogacy.
