Deepika Padukone has finally dropped a video on her Instagram handle in which she is seen flaunting her 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢 bump. The Bollywood actress is expecting her first child with actor-husband Ranveer Singh. She was recently trolled when she stepped out to cast her vote but a section of netizens called her 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢 bump ‘fake’.
On Friday, Deepika went live on her Instagram handle and talked about the range of her beauty products 82°E. The actress sported a bright yellow maxi dress, radiating her pregnancy glow. As Deepika walked around a store in Mumbai and talked about her beauty products, netizens noticed that her 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢 bump was very much visible in the clip.
Deepika’s fans reacted to the video and showered love on mom-to-be.”Stay blessed beautiful. Take great care,” one of the fans wrote. “Looking so so so beautiful mama,” added another. “Prettiest Mom to be soon,” a third comment read. One of the fans called her “sunshine”, whereas another wrote, “My queen, pregnancy has made her more beautiful❤️❤️.”
On May 20, Deepika stepped out to cast her vote in the fifth phase of Mumbai Lok Sabha Election 2024. However, she was trolled by a section of netizens who made nasty comments on her 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢 bump. Amid the ongoing trolling of the actress on social media, a senior journalist, Faye D’Souza, penned a strongly-worded post on her official Instagram account and showed her solidarity with Deepika.
In her post, Faye wrote, “Dear social media, Deepika Padukone stepped out to do her democratic duty and vote. She did not ask for your feedback on her body or her pregnancy. You have no right to comment on any aspect of her life. Stop it. Behave.” Alia Bhatt was quick to like the post. In fact, Alia’s sisters Pooja Bhatt and Shaheen Bhatt and her mother Soni Razdan liked the post too.
Meanwhile, on the work front, is working through her pregnancy. The actress is currently shooting for Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again. In the film, she will be playing the role of a ruthless police officer. Besides this, Deepika will also be seen in Kalki 2898 AD in which she will be sharing the screen with Jr NTR and Amitabh Bachchan.
