“It’s called chasing your dreams,” said Angel Reese in her voiceover for the recently released Beats by Dre ad. It’s also something that resonates deeply with her. Since her NCAA days, the Chi-Town Barbie has been in demand among brands, and she even became the face of women’s basketball for Reebok. Though she has fulfilled some of her wishes, some still need to be realized. The Chicago rookie took to Instagram to express one of those: walking the ramp for a coveted brand.

“I’M GOING TO WALK IN A VS FASHION SHOW! MARK MY WORDS!!!,” Reese posted on Tuesday on her Instagram story with the snap of a building that advertised the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. This immediately caught the attention of her fans since she has already demonstrated her ability to grab eyeballs and win hearts with her fashion sense.

Reese called attention to her fashion sense when she modeled for a sports brand in a swimsuit in 2023. Since then, she has regularly fed social media algorithms her pictures in costly dresses to keep her fans engaged. Take her Blonde Barbie look at last month’s 2024 CFDA Fashion Awards, for example. It will tell you that while she gets deals with brands for her balling career the Chi-Town Barbie also has all enchanted with her unique dressing sense.

Furthermore, Reebook signed an NIL deal with Reese in 2023 before she took the court for the LSU Tigers. Then, when her Uncle Shaquille O’Neal became the President of Basketball Operations, she was signed to a multi-year contract. The same deal also includes a signature shoe set to release in 2026. Thus, she is in charge of changing the brand image and helping it re-emerge. As for her deal with Beats, it also came during her NCAA days.

During her time with the Lady Tigers, the double-double Queen inked a major deal with this headphones company. She then even gifted both men’s and women’s basketball players a set of headphones, which certainly rang music regarding Reese’s humility in their ears. Since then, the brand has collaborated with Reese whenever they can. Her latest ad features athletes such as LeBron James, Erling Haaland, and Lionel Messi. It must have been a terrific project to lend her voice to.

When it comes to her wish to be an angel, Reese has already been spotted in one of VS’s fashion shows. But it’s yet to be found out how she plans to take it further.

When the $2.51 billion brand made its presence felt through a runaway show in October- the first time such an event was held in the last six years, Reese decided to flaunt her dressing s𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁s in the fashion world. Donning a red crochet dress by Diotima and a pair of black strappy sandals, the Maryland-born attended the event enthusiastically. Her dress had a cut-out back and a fringe bottom to enhance its appeal, and her strappy sandals were made of leather, adding to the exquisite look.

At the fashion show, Reese sat with former Sky teammate Kysre Gondrezick and posed for pictures with popular gymnast Suni Lee. Later, she changed into a black mini-dress and wore a trench coat. Through it all, she has demonstrated her knack for dressing surprisingly well and dropped hints at wanting to take it to the next level by walking the ramp.

Now that she has again expressed her wish for the same, fans hope she soon gets a chance to be an angel. Until then, all she can hope is for her voice to reach the right people to get her into the fashion world!
