A$AP Rocky previewed some unreleased music during his headlining set at Rolling Loud California on March 15, 2025. One potential track titled *Don’t Be Dumb* featured Rocky clarifying his allegiance in the ongoing feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar.
Rocky rapped, “I ain’t on J. Cole, I ain’t on Drake, I ain’t on Kendrick side/ I choose homicide, they gonna see a different side.”
Throughout 2024, Rocky appeared to be taking shots at Drake while collaborating with Future and Metro Boomin on the track “Show of Hands,” and later on J. Cole’s “Ruby Rosary” in September.
Drake directly addressed Rocky during his feud with Kendrick Lamar in a three-part diss track titled “Family Matters,” released in May. Drake, who previously dated Rihanna, has a complex history with Rocky, who reportedly has ties to Drake’s 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢 mother, Sophie Brussaux. In his diss track, Drake rhymed about their rivalry and Rocky’s past relationships.
Rocky’s performance at Rolling Loud California was memorable, as he rappelled from a helicopter to kick off the show. He dedicated his set to those affected by the Los Angeles wildfires and U.S. immigration laws, expressing his desire for unity among people of different backgrounds.
“I see unity. I see so many types of people. I see so many different colors,” he stated. “I would like to dedicate this show to anybody that was affected by those fires. To anybody that was affected by the immigration laws. My heart goes out to you.”
Rocky also previewed additional unreleased tracks during his set, which Rihanna attended, but he did not announce a release date for *Don’t Be Dumb*. This performance marked his first festival appearance since being found not guilty in February in a felony shooting case involving a former associate.
