開幕戦ではドジャース・大谷翔平投手の真美子夫人がドジャースナインに東京の有名レストラン「エテ」の入手困難な“幻のケーキ”を差し入れたことで話題となった。だが、レガルダのインスタグラムによると、カブスだけのロゴ入りのケーキの写真も公開されており、日本開催の“ホスト”として両軍にケーキを差し入れしたとみられる。
鈴木誠也外野手の妻で元新体操日本代表のキャスター・畠山愛理とのツーショット写真やカブス夫人会の集合写真も投稿した。
別の投稿では都内を観光する様子や焼肉、抹茶ジュースを楽しむ様子なども公開されている。
