Actor Kim Soo Hyun’s team has filed an additional report against the operator of the YouTube channel ‘Garoseyo Research Institute’ (GaSeYeon), who has been spreading allegations involving the late Kim Sae Ron.

On the 24th, Kim Soo Hyun’s agency, Gold Medalist, via its legal representative L.K.B & Partners, announced that they had filed a report against Kim Se Yeol, the operator of GaSeYeon, on charges of blackmail.

Previously, on March 20th, Gold Medalist reported GaSeYeon to the authorities for posting photos of Kim Soo Hyun’s private moments during a livestream, accusing the channel of violating the Special Act on the Punishment of Sexual Crimes, including the illegal distribution of footage using cameras. However, the following day (March 21st), GaSeYeon re-posted the same photos during another livestream.

Kim Soo Hyun’s team responded, stating, “GaSeYeon’s behavior is another criminal act and shows blatant disregard for the law and investigative authorities. Such actions are unimaginable.”

They further stated, “During live broadcasts on March 21st and 22nd, GaSeYeon threatened Kim Soo Hyun by referencing the Disney+ original drama ‘Knock Off’, saying that if Disney+ did not cancel the release, they would expose videos of Kim Soo Hyun. They also repeatedly referenced the ‘Nth Room,’ implying that Kim Soo Hyun had committed crimes similar to those associated with that case, and claimed to have footage of it.”

The statement continued, “Such claims by GaSeYeon are completely false, just like all of their previous allegations. The video they claim to exist does not exist at all.”

They added, “GaSeYeon’s actions are a serious criminal offense that cannot be overlooked, and Gold Medalist has swiftly filed an additional report against them.”

Gold Medalist, the agency managing actor Kim Soo Hyun, has filed an additional report against Kim Se Yeol, the operator of the YouTube channel GaSeYeon, on charges of blackmail.

As previously stated, on March 20th, 2025, Gold Medalist reported GaSeYeon for posting photos of Kim Soo Hyun’s private moments during a livestream on their YouTube channel, citing violations of the Special Act on the Punishment of Sexual Crimes, including distributing footage via camera devices. However, on March 21st, the day after the initial report, GaSeYeon re-posted the same photos in another broadcast. This is considered another criminal act and shows a blatant disregard for legal and investigative authority.

In live broadcasts on March 21st and 22nd, GaSeYeon mentioned Kim Soo Hyun’s role in the Disney+ original drama The Knock Off and threatened to release videos of him if the drama’s release was not canceled. They also repeatedly referenced the Nth Room case, falsely implying that Kim Soo Hyun had committed similar crimes and claiming to possess related footage. These claims are entirely false. The video GaSeYeon claims to have does not exist.

GaSeYeon’s actions are serious criminal offenses that cannot be ignored, and Gold Medalist has acted swiftly in filing an additional report.
