The Game reignites feud with 50 Cent as he taunts ‘fat a**’ rapper for ‘hitting women’ in his LA hometown… after 50 Cent denied ‘intentionally’ hitting concertgoer with thrown microphone

The rapper The Game appeared to reignite his long-standing feud with 50 Cent on Thursday.

The Compton-born rapper, 43, mocked the In Da Club hitmaker, 48, as a ‘fat a**’ in an Instagram Stories post he shared that featured footage of 50 appearing to throw a microphone into the crowd at his concert in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

The Game — real name: Jayceon Terrell Taylor — mocked his longtime nemesis for allegedly striking a female concertgoer in the head with his hurled microphone, which apparently left her with a gash on her forehead that poured blood all down her face and clothing.

Earlier on Thursday — a day after the unfortunate performance — 50 Cent’s attorney claimed via a statement to DailyMail.com that his client did not ‘intentionally’ strike the woman, who is reported to be a radio host.

However, he stopped short of denying that the rapper — real name: Curtis Jackson III — was still responsible for the shocking injury. DailyMail.com has reached out to representatives for both The Game and 50 Cent for comment.

Getting back at him: The Game, 43, mocked ‘fat a**’ 50 Cent on Thursday, reigniting their nearly two-decade feud, after 50 allegedly threw a microphone into his concert crowd and injured a woman; seen in August 2022

Denial of intent: Earlier on Thursday, 50 Cent’s attorney said he did not ‘intentionally’ strike the woman, who is reportedly a radio host; seen August 16 in Charlotte, North Carolina

The Game appeared to repost part of a TMZ video featuring footage of 50 Cent throwing his microphone, though it wasn’t clear if it was the toss that apparently injured the woman, as he threw multiple malfunctioning microphones at the concert.

‘Curtis, yo fat a** came to LA hittin women,’ he captioned the clip while adding a thinking emoji.

He referred to 50 Cent by his first name, rather than his stage name, and he referenced Bryhana Monegain, a radio host for Power 106 who is reportedly the woman injured by the hurled microphone.

This is just the latest salvo in The Game and 50 Cent’s feud, which has its roots going back nearly 20 years.

In 2001, 50 formed the rap group G-Unit, and two years later The Game was added to the group by Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine in an attempt to promote the rising artist ahead of his debut studio album.

After 2005’s The Documentary was released, 50 Cent, who had co-produced it, kicked his fellow rapper out of the group over claims that he had co-written several of the songs on The Game’s debut but had not received credit.

Their nascent feud turned violent during a confrontation at a radio station that year when both rappers’ entourages exchanged gunfire, resulting in one of The Game’s entourage members being shot by Hot 97 security.

The Game and 50 Cent would go on to hold a press conference to lay their beef to rest, but members of G-Unit later leveled jabs at The Game, and he subsequently announced that he was boycotting their music.

Since then, their jabs at each other have taken on a softer tone, and they have even announced reconciliations multiple times over the years, but the bad blood appears to always return.

Earlier on Thursday, the attorney for 50 Cent has shared a statement with DailyMail.com claiming that his client did not ‘intentionally’ strike a woman at his recent concert stop in Los Angeles.

‘Let’s be very clear, as I told LAPD this afternoon, my client Curtis would never intentionally strike anyone with a microphone,’ said Scott Leeman, via a statement.

Harsh words: The Game shared a video of the alleged mic throw and photos of the injured woman, commenting, ‘Curtis, yo fat a** came to LA hittin women’

Beef: The two have feuded going back to 2005, when 50 kicked The Game out of his group G-Unit. A confrontation at a radio station that year led to one of The Game’s entourage members being shot. They have since traded jabs on and off for years

‘Anyone saying something different doesn’t have all the facts and is misinformed,’ he added.

The denial of intent to hit someone comes after the rapper is reportedly being investigated by police for battery after allegedly striking a radio host for Power 106, which left her with a gash on her forehead that poured blood out all over her face and clothing.

The hitmaker — real name: Curtis Jackson III — had reportedly thrown two separate microphones in the crowd at his LA show on Wednesday.

A now-viral TikTOk shows the In Da Club artist, who recently postponed his Arizona concert due to a heat wave, hurling a microphone with force offstage when the item wasn’t working.

In the clip, the star was handed a mic that didn’t work and was seen dropping it down impatiently on the side of stage.

He later was given another mic that was also facing technical issues, prompting him to hurl the item away, hitting the fan.

Since the incident, 50 Cent is now a suspect in a criminal battery report after the woman ‘filed a police report’ shortly after the concert, reported TMZ.

The Instagram account, The Neighborhood Talk, also uploaded a photo of the fan with a bloody gash on her forehead and claimed the victim was Power 106 host, Bryhana Monegain.

Law enforcement informed the outlet that, ’50 threw the mic at his crew in the production area and hit the victim,’ and that the woman claimed to officers, ’50 looked directly at her before throwing the mic.’

After being struck by the microphone, the fan was taken to the hospital to treat a ‘laceration on her head.’

Oh dear: The rapper threw a microphone into the crowd twice during his Final Tour stop in Los Angeles on Wednesday – striking a fan in the head and leading the star to become a suspect in a battery case

In photos obtained by TMZ, the victim could be seen with a deep cut on her forehead and showed that her head was wrapped with a bandage.

She also had cuts and bruises on her arm as well as the palm of her hand.

Sources informed the outlet that 50 Cent ‘wasn’t targeting the woman, but still, he beaned her good.’

Another insider close to the rapper explained that the woman was in a restricted area near the stage which she ‘wasn’t supposed to be in.’ It’s unclear why the insider thought that claim would absolve 50

The rapper has been on the road for his Final Lap tour which officially kicked off last month in July, and is slated to come to an end on December 14 in Auckland, New Zealand, with international dates starting in late September.

Cardi B is another performer who recently faced a similar incident last month in July when she hurled a microphone at an audience member in Las Vegas after a drink was tossed at her.

In anger, she responded by throwing the mic at the DJ, but was later legally cleared in the battery case.

Lawyers for the singer, Drew Findling, David Chesnoff and Richard Schonfeld, told TMZ in statement at the time, ‘This afternoon we were notified by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Dept., that as a result of their investigation, there will be NO charges against Cardi.’

‘Laceration’: In photos obtained by TMZ, the victim could be seen with a deep cut on her forehead and showed that her head was wrapped with a bandage

Bandaged: A thick bandage was wrapped around her head and dried blood could be seen stained on her shirt

Other injuries: Aside from the gash on her forehead, the victim also received a cut on the palm of her hand

Bruises: The woman who was struck with the microphone also received bruises and other smaller scrapes on her arm as well

‘On behalf of Cardi, we appreciate the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Dept’s diligent and prompt resolution of this matter.’ The microphone itself was later auctioned off on eBay for nearly a whopping $100k.

50 Cent has yet to address the incident, but earlier on Thursday, he jumped to Instagram to share photos with his son, Sire, 10, who also attended the L.A. concert.

The post contained two photos of the performer and his youngest son, whom he shares with Daphne Joy. The star also welcomed son, Marquise Jackson, 26, with ex Shaniqua Tompkins.

The duo stood closely together on the stage which was covered with confetti and 50 Cent penned, ‘My LA show was SIRE approved, he said man that was crazy! My little man could feel the love.’

The microphone incident comes shortly after the Candy Shop rapper postponed his Arizona tour stop that was slated to be held on Monday, August 28.

However, due to a heat wave and temperatures rising to 116 degrees, the performer made the decision to not take to the stage. Instead, he jumped to his main Instagram page on Sunday to reveal the news to his fans and followers.

‘Due to extreme heat, the show tomorrow in Phoenix, AZ is being postponed. For anyone who would like a refund, please go to point of purchase for instructions.’

The father of two then expressed, ‘I’ll be back in Arizona soon! 116 degrees is dangerous for everyone.’

However, social media users and fans who were set to attend the concert were less than impressed by the last minute cancellation.

One follower typed out in the comment section, ‘A lot of broken hearts tonight!’ while another added, ‘The day before the concert really? You couldn’t have said something earlier.’

An Instagram user wrote, ‘Naaaah the show starts at 7 anyway you can survive for an hour,’ while one fan expressed they had taken the day off to attend. ‘crying 🙁 not me taking the day off for this.’

Some fans sent support to 50 Cent, with one penning, ‘Yes definitely dangerous stay healthy definitely hydrated.’
