50 Cent accidentally dislocated the finger of a stuntman while playing the role of Easy Day on the new action film Expend4bles, the fourth installment of The Expendables series.
The movie’s stunt coordinator Alan Ng, while speaking about working with the film’s big names on action sequences, told PopCulture.com that the injury occurred after the actor/musical artist, 48, and stuntman collided.
’50 Cent is very powerful and strong so that made it very easy to work with him,’ Ng told the outlet. ’50 Cent is very powerful and strong, so he’s like a tank.
‘He was actually so strong that in one of the scenes, he was supposed to barge into a stunt performer and his strength resulted in the guy going flying and dislocated his finger.’
Ng said said that the stuntman ‘and his finger are ok now of course.’

The Candy Shop rapper, whose full name is Curtis Jackson, spoke about the collision on Instagram Wednesday, noting he was nearly 30 pounds heavier during filming of the motion picture.
‘I was 237 lbs in EXPENDABLES 4 I’m back down to 208,’ he said in response to a news item about the story. ‘I still got a little POWER check out the movie.’
The rapper, whose hits include In da Club, P.I.M.P. and If I Can’t, appears alongside Sylvester Stallone, 76, Dolph Lundgren, 65, Jason Statham, 55, Andy Garcia, 67, and Megan Fox, 37, in the movie. It also features Randy Couture, 60, Tony Jaa, 47, Iko Uwais, 40, Jacob Scipio, 30 and Levy Tran, 40.
Ng said he ‘loved working with such a talented cast’ on the new film.
The film opened September 22 and has made $15.5 million at the worldwide box office, with $10.3 million domestic, according to Box Office Mojo.

‘We played to the fact that Megan has a strong dance background,’ said Ng, who has past worked with Jackie Chan on a number of films.
Ng said Fox’s past work on the Transformers films ‘definitely helped with her scenes,’ in Expend4bles.

‘She has a very good foundation with her dance background and she picks up choreography very fast when rehearsing or when we made any change on set,’ he said.
50 Cent last appeared in a film with the 2019 Stallone movie Escape Plan: The Extractors. He has also been in movies including 2005’s Get Rich or Die Tryin’, 2013’s Escape Plan, 2015’s Spy and 2018’s Escape Plan 2: Hades.
He has appeared on 44 episodes of the TV series Power, which he executive produces.
Expend4bles is in theaters now.
