Usher and H.E.R. did exactly just that in the music video for their new song: Risk It All.

On Wednesday, the U Got It Bad singer, 45, and the Best Part hitmaker, 26, dropped the steamy music video for their collaborative single from The Color Purple soundtrack.

In the visual, they stripped down to their underwear and performed a sensual dance while singing the moving ballad about wanting to be loved.

Usher donned only a pair of black boxer briefs while H.E.R. — who also stars in the new musical adaptation, which was a Christmas Day box office hit, from the beloved classic film — wore a corset top and micro shorts.

Not only their incredible physiques, the Grammy-winning musicians also bared their emotions as they sang the lyrics with teary eyes and melancholy expressions.

In the beginning of the music video directed by Dave Meyers, the singers are standing in the middle of a rotating circular platform in a dark and empty room.

They sing with each other and put on an interpretive performance with scantily dressed dancers.

H.E.R. rocked long dark hair and vampy makeup as she harmonized her silky voice with Usher’s velvety tenor.

‘I don’t mind / Feeling like I’m bound to fall / Close my eyes / Baby, I would risk it all / Just to be in love / Oh, I just wanna be / Be in love, yeah,’ they sing, blending their voices together in the moody piano ballad.

Their movements blended together as various dancing scenes were layered in double exposure effects for a dramatic touch.

Near the end of the music video, everything slows down and they are seen laying in a peaceful pile with the dancers.

Besides writing (alongside Jimmy Napes) and producing the song personally, H.E.R. also made her acting debut in The Color Purple movie musical.

In the feature film, which is based on Alice Walker’s 1982 novel of the same name, she plays Squeak.

He also showed off his strength as he effortlessly picked up another dancer and spun her around on his shoulders

Her character in the musical is Harpo’s second wife and goes from a juke joint waitress to an aspiring singer.

As her nickname suggests, she is a soft-spoken and ordinary person who then grows into someone who takes control of her own destiny and life.

The flick, which is executive produced by Oprah Winfrey, was a box office smash as it was the second biggest Christmas Day opening in history.

On its first day of wide release in the United States, The Color Purple took in a whopping $18.1 million.

The official motion picture soundtrack lists Usher and H.E.R.’s Risk It All as the second track.

The piano ballad will also be re-released as a part of Usher’s forthcoming studio album COMING HOME, which is set to be released sometime in 2024.

H.E.R. also put on a sultry performance as she leaned against a shirtless dancer

At one point, they made a circle around her while she belted the soulful lyrics

She was surrounded by shirtless male backup dancers on the platform as she sang

Later, the performers did an interpretive dance around Usher and H.E.R.

Usher also danced with a group of women as he sang about love and looked towards the sky

At the end of the visual, they lay down in a peaceful pile

The meaningful song brought tears to his eyes as he sang

The touching lyricism choked H.E.R. up

They were both seen shedding tears at the end of the captivating visual

He will also be taking on one of the most iconic stages of all time and performing at the upcoming Super Bowl LVIII’s Halftime Show.

In September, he announced the news by sharing a video of him receiving the news via a phone call from reality TV star Kim Kardashian.

The R&B icon — who recently wrapped his My Way Las Vegas residency earlier this month — previously made an appearance at the 2011 Super Bowl Halftime Show when the Black Eyed Peas headlined the event.

Super Bowl LVIII will air live on CBS on February 11, 2024.
