Cardi B and BIA appear to have traded shots at each other, fueling rumors that the two are feuding.
The drama seemingly stems from both rappers sampling Missy Elliot’s 1999 hit “She’s a Bitch.”
Cardi dropped “Like What (Freestyle)” last week while BIA released “I’m That Bitch,” which actually features Missy’s close collaborator Timbaland, in 2023.
Adding to accusations that the Bronx rap star is biting her Massachusetts-bred contemporary, the video for “Like What (Freestyle)” contains a snippet of another new Cardi B song that shares similarities with BIA’s 2023 track “Fallback.”
After the resemblance between the two songs were highlighted by a user on X (formerly Twitter), the Sisterhood of Hip Hop star replied by posting several woozy face emojis, suggesting she didn’t take kindly to the comparison.
She later wrote: “Yall are sick.”
Cardi, who is no stranger to rap beef, then appeared to hit back, writing on X: “Bitches make a fool of themselves every single time [crying face emoji] .. ima show ya something when I release this song tho [winking face emoji].”

Though fans are speculating the two are currently feuding, BIA has shown love to Cardi B in the past.
After Cardi’s hit “Bodak Yellow” was certified diamond in 2021, BIA wrote on social media: “If you’re not inspired you’re not paying attention. You can at least be a fan of someone’s work ethic, growth, and contributions. & I’ve been writing for 10years, what she’s accomplished is NOT EASY.”
Cardi B used “Like What (Freestyle)” to take several shots at her contemporaries, including possibly Nicki Minaj.
She appeared to jab her longtime rival with the line: “Everything you got, I had five years before,” which seemed to be a reference to “Bodak Yellow” topping the Billboard Hot 100 half a decade before Nicki’s “Super Freaky Girl.”
Another line goes: “First, that bitch hate me, then this bitch hate me/ And somehow, they link up and they become friends, like, how?/ Bitch, pipe down.”
Following the release of a teaser for the song, BIA tweeted: “BIA THIS… BIA THAT BIA KNOW HOW TO FUCKIN RAP,” which some interpreted as a dig at Cardi.
“Like What (Freestyle)” also appeared to be further proof the the mother-of-two has reconciled with estranged husband Offset.
After announcing they were separating last year, Cardi spent Valentine’s Day with the former Migos rapper and recruited him to direct the music video for her aforementioned single.
Offset also celebrated the song’s release on his own social media, writing: “You the fucking baddest. Stop playin wit them.”
