Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been told exactly how they can spend more time with King Charles.
The Duke and Duchess of Sus𝓈ℯ𝓍 have been at loggerheads with the Royal Family for some time, but are currently reportedly trying to repair their ongoing rift.
Harry and Meghan are also said to be keen on trying to regain a positive image in the UK, and a PR expert has suggested that this could ensure they get to spend more time with the 75-year-old monarch – who was diagnosed with a form of cancer last month.
Speaking of the couple, PR expert Carla Speight told the Mirror: “Once they’ve succeeded in reminding people of the humanitarians and deep love that is at the heart of their relationship, they will have the opportunity to spend more time with Charles during his cancer battle.”
Despite many feeling as though it is too late for Meghan and Harry to repair their image, Ms Speight suggested that “all is not lost”.
She told the publication: “All is not lost for the couple, despite a rough few years, they still have many supporters out there and the public is growing tired of the constant bashing they are getting. They don’t need a rebrand, they need to refocus the attention on what good they do.
“Now that Kate and William are at the heart of the wrath of the global press and public, the timing for Harry and Meghan to focus attention on the positives in their work lives and what makes them well received amongst supporters couldn’t be any more pressing.”
The couple stepped down as senior working royals at the start of 2020, and have since resided in the US with their two children, Archie, four, and Lilibet, two.
