50 Cent mocks Kanye West in the latest clash between the rival rappers

50 Cent has mocked Kanye West for saying he had ‘cut ties’ with himself amid his anti-Semitism scandal, in the latest clash between the long-feuding rappers.

On Thursday, Kanye – who legally changed his name to Ye a year ago – joked about ‘cutting ties’ with himself as brands continued to severe relationships with him over his anti-Semitic rants.

He reposted a fake news headline concocted by UK Rap News, which read: ‘Ye has reportedly cut ties with Kanye West.’

Joking around: 50 Cent, 47, (Pictured in 2021) has jumped on a sarcastic social media trend, by taking to Instagram and poking fun at Kanye West’s empire crumbling around him

Alongside the headline, the rapper, 45, jokingly added: ‘Had to cut ties bro,’ poking fun at himself after he claimed to have lost $2billion in a day.

Shortly after, 50 Cent, 47, jumped on what became a sarcastic social media trend, by taking to Instagram and poking fun at Ye’s empire crumbling around him.

It is not the first time that the two rappers have clashed, as 50 Cent has previously mocked Kanye for getting lipo and have been feuding for over a decade.

In his latest post, Fiddy – real name Curtis James Jackson III – shared two pictures of himself side-by-side with the headline: ‘Curtis Jackson has reportedly cut ties with 50 Cent.’

The In Da Club hitmaker captioned the image: I’m getting rid of anybody who can get me fvcked up like kanye right now ! LOL #brasoncognac #lecheminduroi.’

Kanye then deleted his original ‘cutting ties’ post and shared 50 Cent’s tongue-in-cheek meme while requesting they join forces to bring his Donda Academy to Houston, Texas, where 50 Cent resides.

According to Newsweek, 50 Cent responded in a now-deleted comment, which reportedly read: ‘OK YE let’s build a school in Houston but go cool off,’ and is said to have added that Kenye is ‘hot right now’ with ‘the Feds all on him’.

Making light of it: It comes after Kanye West – who legally changed his name to Ye a year ago – joked about ‘cutting ties’ with himself as brands continued to severe relationships with him

But 50 Cent’s posts shifted from jokey to serious when he became aware of a CNN report alleging that Kanye ‘has a disturbing history of admiring’ Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler.

Former TMZ reporter Van Lathan Jr. alleged earlier this month that the Heartless musician had professed his ‘love’ for Hitler during a 2018 interview with the outlet.

In a now-deleted post, 50 Cent wrote next to a screenshot of the CNN article: ‘I have never seen anything like this before. I think Kanye should buy the car he likes the best and just ride off into the sunset, it’s really a wrap.

‘People are really hurt by this s***. I have seen people in this position because of [things] they have [done] not things they have said. Now you gotta master the art of shutting the f*** up! […] You gonna make everybody hot. Go cool off!’

It is not the first time that the rival rappers have clashed as they have been feuding with each other for over a decade.

Their feud began heating up in 2007, when Kanye’s album Graduation trounced 50’s LP Curtis on the Billboard charts, surpassing the G-Unit rapper’s numbers by over a quarter million units.

After that a casual rivalry was elevated into a full blown beef.

Things only intensified after Graduation earned Kayne four nods at the 50th annual Grammy Awards, which took place in 2008. And the grudge match has continued ever since.

And back in 2018, the In Da Club rapper took aim at the ever-controversial Kanye in a series of snide tweets.

He mocked the Kanye’s admission he became addicted to opioids after getting liposuction surgery, posting: ‘Going to bed hungry tonight because l don’t want you guys to call me fat, and l don’t want to get lipo.’

50 Cent also mocked Kanye about his comments regarding slavery, which were made during the same live interview on TMZ.

Responding to Kanye’s controversial remarks, the rapper tweeted: ‘Look at the bright side, I could be saying slavery was a choice.’

In 2018, 50 Cent also shaded Kanye for leaving the scene of a Beverly Hills shooting ‘immediately’.

At the time, Kanye and Tekashi 6ix9ine filmed a music video at an exclusive $80million estate in Beverly Hills when shots were fired.

But 50 Cent shared images from the scene and shaded Kanye in the process.

The Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ artist, who did not appear to be present for the shooting, posted images of a bedroom window with a bullet hole along with a caption.

‘Kanye was like [running man emoji]’ the rapper born Curtis Jackson wrote in the caption which began: ‘Now somebody done shot my son video up in LA.’

Support: In 2020, 50 Cent also backed Kim Kardashian amid Kanye West’s Twitter rants against her, saying she is being ‘very understanding’

At the time, sources said eight shots were fired at an exclusive $80million estate in Beverly Hills where Kanye and 6ix9ine were filming together.

No one was injured in the shooting but one bullet went through a bedroom window. 50 Cent then posted a photo of the bullet-shattered glass.

In 2020, 50 Cent also backed Kim Kardashian amid Kanye West’s Twitter rants against her, saying she is being ‘very understanding’.

He publicly supported Kim while taking a swipe at Kanye by sharing her recent statement defending her husband’s tweeting tirades – during which he claimed he has been trying to divorce his wife.

The ‘In da Club’ rapper – whose real name is Curtis Jackson – captioned his post: ‘This was cool she’s being very understanding because ya man is bugged out. (sic)’

Backlash: 50 Cent’s comments come after Kanye has claimed he lost $2 billion in a single day as companies continue to sever ties with the him following his anti-Semitic remarks (pictured in May)

50 Cent’s latest comments regarding Kanye come after the Yeezy mogul claimed he lost $2billion in a single day as companies have continued to sever ties with the rapper following his anti-Semitic remarks.

The rapper returned to Instagram on Thursday after his account was restricted earlier this month following his series of shocking posts.

Discussing the backlash, West – known legally as Ye – insisted that ‘money is not who I am’ as he penned a ‘love letter’ to Hollywood super agent Ari Emanuel, who had called for West to be dropped by all major brands.

In a post captioned ‘LOVE SPEECH’, he penned: ‘Ari Emanuel, I lost 2 billion dollars in one day and I’m still alive. This is love speech. I still love you. God still loves you. The money is not who I am. The people is who I am.’

Making a comeback: The rapper returned to Instagram on Thursday after his account was restricted earlier this month following his series of shocking posts (pictured in 2018)

In an op-ed for the Financial Times, Endeavor co-CEO Emanuel wrote that there should be ‘no tolerance anywhere for West’s anti-Semitism’ and encouraged brands to full-stop cease partnering and working with the designer.

‘Apple and Spotify, which host West’s music, whoever organizes West’s tours, and Adidas, which collaborates with West on his fashion line, should all stop working with him,’ wrote Emanuel – essentially calling for a blacklisting.

‘Silence is dangerous,’ continued Emanuel. ‘It allows forms of hatred and racism, including anti-Semitism, to spread and become normalized. It coarsens and degrades our society and country.’

Emanuel, himself Jewish, is widely considered to be one of the most powerful men in the entertainment industry. West has repeatedly blamed the ‘Jewish media’ and ‘Jewish community’ in the music industry for toying with him.
