The Iowa Hawkeyes star, who is coming off back-to-back national title game losses – last year to LSU, this year to South Carolina – is widely expected to be the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft on Monday.
Clark has been trending on social media for her night out in New York City. She made a surprise appearance on “Saturday Night Live” and galavanted around Manhattan.

Clark and some of her teammates made a surprise appearance on “Saturday Night Live” this weekend.
“Thanks to all the great players like Sheryl Swoopes, Lisa Leslie, Cynthia Cooper, the great Dawn Staley, and my basketball hero, Maya Moore,” Clark said on the show. “These are the women that kicked down the door so I could walk inside, so I want to thank them tonight for laying the foundation.”
Clark is being praised for her “classy” appearance on the show, as well.
Monday night, she’ll make more history, going No. 1 overall in the WNBA Draft to the Indiana Fever.
