After an assassin portrayed by Tony Jaa expertly launched a knife into a solider’s chest, Christmas was seen while getting intimate with Gina, played by Fox, who stopped him by stating ‘first things first.’
The team went on to mount an assault on a cargo ship, and Christmas attempted to single-handedly capsize the vessel during the attack.
Ross subsequently saved Statham’s life from a group of assailants, and when the latter complained that his longtime friend ‘almost f***ing 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁ed me,’ Stallone’s character replied: ‘You’re welcome.’
A rapid-fire montage of action scenes then ensued, during which Lundgren’s character, Gunner Jensen, expressed that it felt ‘good to be back.’
Marsh, played by Andy Garcia, then told an unseen group of assailants to ‘enjoy the show’ before a particularly large individual was violently catapulted behind a bar.
The trailer ended with Christmas and Gina relaxing in bed, just after a soldier’s head was pulverized with a metal pole.
Development on Expend4bles initially commenced in the mid-2010s, and it was preceded by the original three Expendables films, which were released in 2010, 2012 and 2014, respectively.
Stallone previously announced that he would be departing the franchise in 2017, although he returned to his part as Ross the following year.
