While Catherine, Princess of Wales, better known as Kate Middleton, has stayed out of the public eye amid her cancer diagnosis, that doesn’t mean she’s also isolating from her inner circle. In fact, insiders claim that certain members of her inner circle have been her rock amid it all, including a member many thought was out of the inner circle: Sarah Rose Cholmondeley, the Marchioness of Cholmondeley, better known as Rose Hanbury.
According to ok.co.uk, insiders claim Kate has looked for emotional support from these members of her inner circle while in Norfolk: Emilia Jardine-Patersosn, Sophie Snuggs, Lady Laura Meade, and Hanbury.

“Kate feels more at home in Norfolk,” the insider explained. “She’s got several close friends there…Those friends are the ones she can discuss anything with while she can be rather closed off to others.”
For those who don’t know, Meade is Prince Louis‘ godmother, and is often having double dates with Kate and Prince William. Jardine-Paterson has been considered Kate’s best friend for years, and is even Prince George’s godmother. Snuggs is also another BFF, and is Princess Charlotte’s godmother! (We actually did a deep dive on all of Kate’s BFFs, which you can see here!)
Other people Kate has seemingly stayed close with amid her struggle is sister Pippa Middleton and the Van Cutsems, who live nearby. But the one that shocked people was Hanbury.

For those who don’t know, Kate and Rose have been considered best friends for years. There was a time when they weren’t often together, leading many to believe there was a falling out (and thus, those affair rumors started).
However, after Hanbury reportedly reached out to Kate amid her health problems, it seems the two reconnected.
Plus, there was that time last year when Kate was seen at Houghton Hall for an event. So, who knows, maybe the media trauma made them bond, and now Hanbury is reportedly a confidante amid the diagnosis.
