Rumor has it that Meghan Markle is quite the bully, and it’s not just our opinion—it’s something a source close to the palace revealed. It turns out that a former royal assistant has officially spoken out about the Duchess of Sus𝓈ℯ𝓍’s alleged mistreatment of staff.
“I have no doubt that more will now emerge. The trickle of information will, soon enough, become a stream,” a source told the Daily Mail.
A former palace aide, Samantha Cohen, stated that she was one of the 10 people questioned about allegations that Meghan Markle mistreated her staff. Samantha worked closely with the late Queen Elizabeth II and said that the monarch had asked her to help Markle acclimate to the royal world. She also mentioned that she stayed in that role longer than originally expected.
“I was only supposed to stay for six months, but I stayed for 18,” Cohen explained. “We couldn’t find a replacement for me, and when we did, we took them on tour to Africa with Harry and Meghan to show them the ropes, but they left as well while in Africa.”
Rumors of Meghan Markle Being a Bully Emerged
The rumors about Meghan bullying her employees surfaced after an interview that Harry and Meghan had with Oprah Winfrey. People said that Meghan made all the staff cry while staying at Kensington Palace with her husband Harry. However, Markle denied being critical and reportedly said, “It’s not my job to coddle people,” according to a media source.
“I am very concerned that the Duchess was able to bully two PAs out of the household in the past year. The treatment of X* was totally unacceptable,” an HR complaint read.
The palace announced that it would launch an investigation but that the findings would not be publicized. At the time, the Duke and Duchess of Sus𝓈ℯ𝓍 also strongly denied the allegations and issued a statement.
“We are disappointed to see this defamatory portrayal of the Duchess of Sus𝓈ℯ𝓍 given credibility by a media outlet.”
