Madonna, 65, looked radiant as she enjoyed a bike ride in New York City on Wednesday – days before her rescheduled Celebration Tour begins.

The pop icon, who is known for posting glamorous, heavily filtered snaps to social media, showed off her glowing complexion with a light palette of make-up as she got some exercise in, 10 days before her tour kicks off with four shows at London’s O2 Arena.

The Like A Prayer hitmaker, who has been recovering from a bacterial infection which saw her hospitalized, wore a black hoodie from her own merchandise line and baseball cap, teamed with matching shorts and leggings as she cycled.

She wore fingerless gloves and completed the ensemble with white sneakers.

Her blonde locks were styled in braids for the exercise sessions.

Madonna is preparing to go on her first tour in three years following a health scare this summer that put her in the hospital.

The tour will begin on October 14 in London – with the star playing three further dates on October 15, 17 and 18 at the 02 Arena.

Earlier last month, People claimed that the mother of six was very excited to hit the road to perform her new songs.

‘She returned to rehearsals last Monday. She’s so happy to be back onstage and is feeling strong,’ a source shared.

‘She’s working closely with her longtime collaborators, Jamie King and Stuart Price, to put the final touches on the show,’ says the source, adding that the run of shows is the icon’s ‘most ambitious tour ever.’

In August Madonna looked happier than ever during her birthday party in Lisbon.

She wore a floral print dress and a daring silver frock as she sang with daughter Lourdes.

Her family is made up of Lourdes Leon, 26, Rocco Ritchie, 23, David Banda, 18, Mercy James, 17, and 11-year-old twins Stella and Estere.

The source told People of her celebrations: ‘She enjoyed her birthday in Lisbon with all her kids and close friends. Now she’s back in work mode and focused on the tour.’

‘This is where she thrives. She loves being back in a creative environment.’

After London the star will make stops in Copenhagen, Barcelona, Paris, Milan and more.

Madonna first announced the Celebration Tour in January.

‘I am excited to explore as many songs as possible in hopes to give my fans the show they have been waiting for,’ she said in a press release at the time.
