The Boys Season 4’s Chaotic New Trailer Confirms Generation V Crossover

An official trailer that was just released for The Boys Season 4 reveals a Gen V crossover.

A new trailer has been released for the anticipated fourth season of The Boys. Ahead of the show’s return to Prime Video in May, the new trailer provides a sneak peek that includes a Gen V crossover.

The trailer was premiered at CCXP in Brazil and is now available online. Present at the fan convention to present the trailer were cast members including Antony Starr (Homelander), Erin Moriarty (Starlight), Karen Fukuhara (Kimiko), Chace Crawford (The Deep), and Claudia Doumit (Vanessa Neuman). Of course, they all will be back in the fourth season of The Boys, as can be seen in the trailer. The trailer also reveals appearances from Gen V stars Maddie Phillips (Cate Dunlap) and Asa Germann (Sam Riordan), confirming there will be some crossover with the spinoff series. Fans can watch the trailer below.

The Boys – Season 4 Official Trailer | Prime Video:

In the fourth season of The Boys, per the official description, “The world is on the brink. Victoria Neuman is closer than ever to the Oval Office and under the muscly thumb of Homelander, who is consolidating his power. Butcher, with only months to live, has lost Becca’s son and his job as The Boys’ leader. The rest of the team are fed up with his lies. With the stakes higher than ever, they have to find a way to work together and save the world before it’s too late.”

Black Noir Return in Season 4’s Trailer (Sort Of)

The Season 4 trailer also reveals a look at Black Noir’s return. Notably, this will not be the same Black Noir as seen in the previous seasons, given the character’s demise, but a new character taking on the moniker. However, the same actor, Nathan Mitchell, will be playing the new Black Noir. Showrunner Eric Kripke previously confirmed that Mitchell would be staying on board with the series.

“It’s definitely not the last we’ve seen of Black Noir as a hero,” Kripke told Entertainment Weekly. “It’s just that the guy who was inside [the Noir suit] in season 3, he’s gone. But we have Nathan playing a really interesting and hilarious character who wears the suit next season.”

The Boys will officially return to Prime Video on June 13, 2024. The premiere will see the first three episodes of the season all dropping simultaneously, while new episodes will be released on a weekly basis after that.
