After nearly two years on the market, former Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson’s 11,100-square-foot Bellevue mansion has a potential buyer.

Carmen Gayton, Wilson’s broker, said someone on Thursday made an offer on the six-bedroom, five-bathroom home. She declined to say how much the offer was for, citing the pending sale.

Wall Street Journal, citing a person familiar with the deal, reported the home was sold for $21.25 million. The home had been listed at $24.9 million.

“It’s not unusual for a home of that size and price point to be on the market for a long period of time,” Gayton said. “I can say we did not have a problem in terms of interest and people wanting to see the property.”

Wilson purchased the Lake Washington waterfront property for $6.7 million in 2015, shortly after signing a four-year, $21.9 million per-season contract extension with the Seahawks.

After marrying singer Ciara in 2016 and starting a family, Wilson added 1,100 square feet to the house, including new children’s play areas, a recording studio, a fashion closet, “a glam room” and a custom two-story treehouse, Gayton said.

The home also includes a gym, a cinema, a yoga studio, a three-story elevator and Jet Ski lifts, along with 164 feet of Lake Washington’s waterfront. For those who would prefer not to walk down 77 steps, Wilson built a tram that can transport people from the home to the waterfront, Gayton said.

Wilson listed the home for $28 million and a neighboring 0.83-acre parcel of land for $8 million in March 2022, one month after he was traded to the Denver Broncos. The land parcel, which included 110 feet of lakefront property, sold for $9.75 million within 20 days, Gayton said.

The home itself and Wilson were less lucky. The house’s price dropped by $2 million in August 2022, and the Broncos’ coach benched the quarterback in December 2023. Wilson signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers in March 2024 after a two-year stint in Denver.

The pending sale of Wilson’s Bellevue home marks the closure of Gayton’s nine-year relationship with the quarterback, whom she called “an amazing client.”

“He got married and raised his family there, and it was nice to see the transition of the property,” she said. “He’s just a wonderful young man — even if I wasn’t his broker, he’s just amazing.”
