When Rita Ora showed up at the Met Gala in New York City on Monday, the temperature shot through the roof.

The 33-year-old hitmaker Let You Love Me looked exactly like 29-year-old rapper Kanye West’s wife, Bianca Censori, as she arrived at the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Benefit Gala wearing an audacious beaded dress.

The stunning woman showed off her slim form in a multicolored tinsel dress, baring all in a highly sensual display.

Rita left little to the imagination as she and her 48-year-old husband Taika Waititi headed to the star-studded event from her opulent hotel.

The vocalist of How To Be Lonely wore few accessories so that the sultry outfit could take center stage.

Rita donned a perfect cosmetics palette that included a beautiful bright blue eyeshadow and added inches to her frame with a pair of nude stiletto strappy heels.

Rita opted for a short, wet-look hairstyle to complete the ensemble rather than her customary long, wavy locks.

In the meantime, her spouse Taika made an eccentric appearance donning a three-piece leather suit in a chocolate hue.

In some snaps, the New Zealand filmmaker and actor could be spotted helping Rita readjust her ensemble to get the perfect snaps on the carpet.

It comes after Kanye and Bianca were notably absent from the Met Gala this year after Met Gala director Anna Wintour vowed to never work with him again after his anti-Semitic rants.

He hasn’t been invited since 2022, however, he was previously known as a Met Gala skipper, as his last appearance was actually in 2019.

So, instead of attending the Met Gala, he and Bianca instead spent their Monday over 2,000 miles away continuing their move out of their LA mansion.

Kim and Kanye’s last Met Gala appearance was in 2019 when she stunned in a gold wet look and Kanye wore a $42 black jacket.

Leaving little to the imagination, Rita posed up a storm as she departed from her swanky hotel and made her way to the star-studded event with her husband Taika Waititi, 48

The singer opted for keeping accessories to a minimum allowing the racy dress to do all the talking as she toted her essentials around in a mini gold handbag

To finish off the look, Rita rocked a short, wet-look hairdo, instead of her usual wavy long locks

Met Gala 2022 was cancelled due to Covid and, in 2021, Kim filed for divorce from Kanye, citing irreconcilable differences.

However, she still took a bit of him with her to that year’s Met Gala, completely concealing her body – including her face – in a black skin-tight suit designed by Balenciaga, Ye’s frequent collaborator.

The Costume Institute’s spring exhibition falls on the first Monday in May every year and is held at New York City‘s Metropolitan Museum of Art.

This year the event is titled Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion while the dress code is The Garden of Time.

Jennifer Lopez, Zendaya, Bad Bunny and Chris Hemsworth are this year’s co-chairs.  Also on the committee is Vogue’s Anna Wintour.

The honorary chairs for the evening are Loewe creative director Jonathan Anderson and TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew.

‘This year’s co-chairs reflect a variety of career achievements, and all have distinct style histories with the Met Gala,’ Vogue shared.

The showcase will feature approximately 250 items drawn from The Costume Institute’s permanent collection – with many of the pieces too fragile to ever be worn again.

The pieces will all be displayed using elements such as AI, GCI, and more while playing up themes of land, sea, and sky.

‘It is very much an ode to nature and the emotional poetics of fashion,’ said Andrew Bolton, Wendy Yu Curator in Charge of The Costume Institute, of the upcoming exhibition.

Gwendoline Christie, La La Anthony and Ashley Graham are hosting while YouTuber Emma Chamberlain is expected to interview stars on the red carpet.

Last year’s gala honoured late designer Karl Lagerfeld.
