The one thing that makes rap beef more interesting than ever is the role that social media plays. You don’t need to be on television or radio to have an opinion about the Drake-Kendrick Lamar feud — all you need is a phone and wifi, and you voice can be spread to millions across the world.
Creatives across the internet have taken sides in the beef in creative and hilarious ways. There’s so much to choose from in a beef that’s probably over but has been trending for more than a week. Here are a few of our faves.
Saving Private Drake
For all that have seen the 1998 World War II movie, “Saving Private Ryan,” you know exactly what is being done here. It references a specific scene where a soldier does nothing as his American comrade is 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁ed by a German soldier. In this case, Kendrick Lamar is the one taking out his rival, Drake, and J. Cole is the “coward” who does nothing.
Knuckles and Kendrick Lamar
This is just super creative. Knuckles and Kendrick Lamar aren’t even connected. But seeing a pixilated K-Dot is pretty freaking cool.
The Avengers
Unlike the previous two posts, there wasn’t much effort into making the heads look realistic on the body. But that’s what makes it funny.
Drake Ham
If you’re not an NBA fan, you may not understand this. But former Los Angeles Lakers Coach Darvin Ham was infamous for allowing opposing teams to go on lengthy runs without calling a timeout. They’re saying Drake is doing the same thing in his battle with Lamar.
Kendrick Sukuna Lamar
These next couple of posts are for my anime fans (sorry I’m deeply involved in anime Twitter). The production of “meet the grahams” was extremely menacing and dark. So it would fit in a scene in which Sukuna, one of the antagonists of “Jujutsu Kaisen,” is causing havoc.
Piccolo and Gohan
In “Dragon Ball Z,” Piccolo takes on the responsibility of training Gohan, the son of his rival. In the case of this meme, Kendrick is Piccolo and Gohan is Adonis, Drake’s son. In the first verse of “meet the grahams,” K-Dot is talking to Adonis and telling him that his father is a “sick man.
Obito Uchiha
Kendrick fans may have been a little nervous after the release of “Family Matters,” but Dot put that all to bed after he released “meet the grahams” literally minutes later.
Itachi and the Fourth Hokage
Remember on “6:16 In LA” when Lamar said, “Have you ever thought that OVO was working for me?” To no surprise, social media ran with it and assumed that someone in OVO was working as a mole to leak information to Lamar and his team. In “Naruto,” Itachi Uchiha served as a double spy for the Fourth Hokage
The Simpsons
This meme speaks for itself. Kendrick Lamar shocked Drake and everyone else when he dropped “meet the grahams” shortly after “Family Matters” was released, stealing all of Drake’s momentum.
J. Cole living his best life
Drake: “I heard that one of them little kids might be Dave Free”
Kendrick Lamar: “Dear 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢 girl, I’m sorry that your father not active inside your world or at your eleventh birthday”
J Cole: (living his best life)

J. Cole decided to bow out of this entire beef weeks ago after he apologized to Kendrick Lamar for dissing. As a result, he’s living his best life.
You Got Served
Another good interpretation of what it may have been like for Drake and OVO when someone switched sides on them to give info to K-Dot.
J. Cole still living his best life
J. Cole’s happiness must be at an all-time high. He doesn’t have to worry about a rival MC pulling out his skeletons of the closet.
Family Guy
Drake: “Your feet small, you got your number one hit bc of me, and Metro needa make some damn drums”
Kendrick: “Your own team is working against you, I hate everything about you, and freaks like you should die”

J. Cole prioritized his peace over a rap beef and as a result, he sleeps well at night.
J. Cole in the ancestral plane
Someone had to let know Cole that the beef between Drake and Lamar was going to get nasty. Maybe he went to the ancestral plane and was told to stay out of it?
J. Cole ignores the fire
Replace the swingset with a bike, and this would be a perfect analogy.
Drake’s master plan

Drake and others on social media have claimed that “The Boy” had a master plan of creating a secret daughter as a way to trick K-Dot into using it on a song. This fan hilariously makes fun of this “plan” and acts as if Drake has been planning this for more than 10 years.
Green Lantern vs Darkseid
tiktok-7366800783679098158
Green Lantern (Drake) thought he was good enough to take on Darkseid (Kendrick), but it wasn’t enough.
Drake’s defeat

Another excellent animation style that demonstrates Drake’s attempt to take down Lamar on “The Heart Part 6” may have not been enough.
The Big 3 (In LEGO form)

Seeing real people in LEGO form is just fun.
Kendrick Lamar training Adonis

This video is referencing Lamar’s line on “meet the grahams,” when he speaks to Adonis and says, “Can’t understand me right now? Just play this when you eighteen.”
Drake in Nigeria

Damn. Drake can’t even get away from the beef in Nigeria.
Avengers: Endgame
Metro Boomin summoned the entire internet in a #bbldrizzybeatgiveaway challenging artists across the world torap over his “BBL Drizzy” beat. The winner gets a free beat from the famed producer and $10,000. Some of the best ones are below.
#bbldrizzybeatgiveaway
Out of all the #bbldrizzybeatgiveaway songs, this may have been the best and most popular.
#bbldrizzybeatgiveaway
Not as good as the last one, but this “Depressed Cowboys fan” was extremely hilarious in this verse.
#bbldrizzybeatgiveaway
Who said you had to rap? This artist decided to show off her impressive vocals instead of trying to show off her bars as an MC.
