Sources recently told PEOPLE that Rob is focused on his daughter amid the drama with his former fiancée.
Meanwhile, Blac Chyna is preparing to take on the Kardashian-Jenner family in court.
The insider said that the former sock designer “tries to ignore any drama with Blac Chyna” and remains “focused on being a great dad” to Dream.
“Rob’s family really loves her,” the source said.
“Rob spends a lot of time with Dream. She brings him a lot of joy. She is in preschool and doing great.”
Blac Chyna recently announced that she plans to revisit seeking legal action against Kris Jenner and other members of the famous family.
She originally filed a lawsuit in 2017, alleging that they were responsible for the cancelation of her E! reality show Rob & Chyna.
In a Twitter statement, she said: “I plan to re-focus my attention on my trial against Kris Jenner and her daughters Kim, Khloe, and Kylie which starts in 13 days.
“When they got my No. 1 hit show 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁ed back in January 2017, that not only hurt me financially and emotionally, that hurt my beautiful KIDS.”
COURT BATTLE
She went on to say: “I’m taking them to court to stand up for my legal rights and to be an example to my kids that ‘what’s right is right, what’s wrong is wrong.’ And what they did was so wrong.
“I am so thankful that a jury will finally listen to what really happened behind closed doors – the lies that were told and the damage that was done.”
Her statement concluded: “At the end of the trial, I’m going to be able to proudly tell King and Dream that I did everything I could to right the wrong that was done to me.
“and that, in life, it is my hope that they will be able to stand up for themselves when it matters too. Peace and Love to you all. Angela.”
In her initial filing, Blac Chyna alleged that she suffered “significant damages” after Rob leaked nude photos of her in the midst of a nasty online feud.
She claimed that was a contributing factor in her show’s cancelation.
ROB’S BATTLE
Rob has legal issues of his own with Blac Chyna, though he recently filed to have a lawsuit he filed against his former bride-to-be in 2017.
The reality star went to the court in February, seeking to have an assault and battery lawsuit dismissed.
Per a report from PEOPLE, Rob said he was interested in ending the legal battle for the sake of his daughter.
Blac Chyna’s attorney, Lynne Ciani, said that they planned to turn their “full attention” to the lawsuit against the Kardashians.
That jury trial is set for April 15 and will take place in a Los Angeles court.
The Kardashians have attempted to have the lawsuit dismissed.
The courts rejected that motion in 2018.
BLAC CHYNA’S CLAIMS
Blac Chyna recently made headlines after she tweeted about her struggles as “a single mother,” alleging that neither Rob nor Tyga, whom she also shares a child with, were supporting her kids financially.
The reality star tweeted: “Yesterday I had to give up 3 of my cars …my reasons… morals, beliefs, being a single mother, no support I’m a MAMA.”
She echoed her sentiment in a second tweet, writing: “Single no support child support.”
The Real Blac Chyna star later tweeted: “Practicing gratitude.”
Tyga, 32, hit back and revealed that he has primary custody of their son.
“I pay 40k a year for my son school & he lives w me mon- sat. Why would I pay child support lol,” the Rack City rapper wrote.
Rob had a similar reaction, replying: “I pay 37k a year for my daughter’s school. I handle every single medical expense. I pay for all her extracurricular activities. I have my daughter from Tuesday-Saturday. Why would i pay child support lol.”
A judge previously ruled that Rob is not legally obligated to pay child support for his only daughter.
In March 2020, sources close to Rob and Chyna told TMZ the exes reached a custody agreement in regards to their daughter, which included the dissolution of his obligation to pay child support.
Instead, each parent is responsible to pay for their child’s needs when they are with them, while school and medical costs will be split in half.
They have 50/50 custody, but Rob will reportedly has Dream for a majority of the time, the outlet reported.
Blac Chyna previously addressed the child support issue, making similar claims.
While appearing on The Wendy Williams Show, the mom of two was asked if Rob sends her money for their daughter.
“No, not all,” she replied. “Yeah, I don’t get any child support from neither one of my children’s fathers.”
She went on: “I feel like if they’re doing their part on their end, and I’m doing mine, that’s perfectly fine and the best co-parenting.
“I work every day, and I bust my tail to make sure my kids are good, stable, a roof over their heads, activities of course and just everything.”
