This past April, Caitlin Clark finished her women’s college basketball career with the Iowa Hawkeyes in an 87-75 loss to the South Carolina Gamecocks in the NCAA Women’s National Championship.
Now, Clark has moved on to the WNBA, being drafted first overall by the Indiana Fever shortly after the title game. She has also completed her first training camp and preseason with the Fever and will make her official WNBA debut on Tuesday.
Clark was unable to attend her graduation at Iowa on Saturday. Her new Fever teammates knew this and had a wholesome celebration and a surprise for her before Sunday’s practice.
