The Zombies mode in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 was one of the positives that came out of the game, which was otherwise criticized for several reasons. The campaign was deemed way too short, but once again, the multiplayer modes came to the title’s rescue. The Zombies mode, in particular, quickly became a fan favorite as it’s still being played and replayed.
One of the fans recently discovered a funny glitch that saw them bounce from the floor after jumping off a rooftop. Shared by an account that shares Call of Duty news on X, the short clip of a player bouncing after hitting the ground received equally sarcastic comments.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Player Survives a Rooftop Jump This glitch in MW3 Zombies allowed a player to survive a jump from a rooftop and bounce to safety.
A hilarious short clip of a player jumping from a rooftop and not only living to tell the tale but also bouncing off the ground and landing on what looks like a crane has surfaced on X. The gameplay is said to be from a round of Zombies in MW3, as the player called the move a “Bouncing Beverage.” The clip quickly caught the attention of other MW3 players.

MW3 Zombies has an official Perk-a-Colas perk that can be crafted, named PHD Flopper, which negates self-inflicted damage to players when they jump onto enemy prones, blowing themselves up in the process. The higher the fall, the more damage is caused by the resulting explosion, all while the player remains immune from fire, gas, and fall damage.

Players will still need a few minutes to feel normal again. Seeing the gameplay clip of the player bouncing off the ground, one of the players replied to the post and compared it to the Flopper perk, while another fan named the glitch the “Tennis Ball Tonic.”

The Zombies mode has had several such glitches right from day one, some of which have by now been patched, but plenty of them remain.
Other Bugs and Glitches in MW3 Zombies While some of the glitches are hilarious, players have reported losing items and weapons due to bugs.
Perhaps one of the most useful glitches in the Zombies mode was the ability to run at hyperspeed, allowing players to gain enough speed to jump and glide for a few seconds. This glitch was found back in December last year by a player who explained ways to replicate it.

The only downside was that, while the glitch was in effect, players were not able to use their weapons.

A bug in the Zombies mode also caused players to be stuck while self-reviving, leading them to get 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁ed for good. Players also reported getting stuck while reloading their weapons or switching between weapons. This bug leads to players losing their items and weapons, and it seems to still affect players in the current season.
While these bugs would infuriate players, they continue to see the funny side of things with glitches that lead to hilarious results like the bouncing effect.
