Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky recently picked up their first victory of the season, after suffering a loss in their season debut. They finished their first series with the Dallas Wings with a 1-1 record, set to play the New York Liberty on Thursday.
Reese spoke on the victory by the Sky, revealing her true thoughts on her first win in the WNBA and what she needs to improve on to make it a regular occasion for her and the Sky.
“4th quarter barbieeeima stay outta fouls trouble yall but whew im so happy for this team! FIRST WNBA WIN & MORE TO COME!,” said Reese, via X.

Reese was selected with the No. 7 overall pick in the latest WNBA draft class. She was seen as a player who could make an immediate impact, but her consistency and versatility are turning heads early.
She’s a player that can make a major difference in the game on both ends of the floor, and that’ll only improve with more time at the professional level.
