Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson’s son has been officially named Tatum Thompson, over one year after they welcomed their 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢 boy.
A Los Angeles judge granted the name change from Kardashian to Tatum Thompson on Thursday, according to documents obtained.
The Good American co-founder, 39, initially marked the birth certificate of her son as “Kardashian” after struggling to come up with a moniker.
An insider confirmed to Page Six last month that the newborn was listed as “Baby” until the reality star came up with Tatum.
Tatum’s birth came during a tumultuous time for the on-again, off-again couple after the Los Angeles Lakers player got another woman pregnant just weeks after they learned they were expecting their son via surrogate.
Khloé Kardashian officially changed the name of her one-year-old son she shares with ex Tristian Thompson.
On Thursday, a Los Angeles judge declared the name change from Baby Kardashian to Tatum Thompson.
After multiple cheating scandals over the years, the “Kardashians” star has insisted several times that she is not getting back together with him.
In May, she slammed rumors of a romantic reconciliation with Thompson.
“Most [people] are stuck at believing the lies because it’s the narrative they want to fuel. Have fun…. Some things are just as simple as they seem,” she wrote.
At the time of his birth in July 2022, the “Kardashians” star struggled to come up with a name for her son.
Tatum was born after the couple called it quits for the last time following the NBA star’s paternity scandal.
As of now, the duo — who began dating in 2016 — are just co-parents to Tatum and their 5-year-old daughter, True.
Earlier this week, Kardashian revealed her daughter was starting Kindergarten with a series of snaps posted to Instagram.
“🤍💜Kindergarten 🤍💜,” she captioned the series of snaps Tuesday. “For anyone wondering, no I’m not ok! Next it will be prom 😫😩.”
The Los Angeles Lakers player has cheated on Kardashian several times.
And while the reality star has taken him back more than once, she recently made it clear they aren’t getting back together.
While it’s unclear is Thompson joined her in the carpool drop off, he tends to make an appearance for big events, including True’s pre-kindergarten graduation in June and Tatum’s lavish first birthday earlier this month.
Honoring her son’s birthday on social media, Kardashian revealed he forever changed her, adding God gave her what she needed.
“God knew my heart needed you. I needed your sweet and precious Smile. I needed your angelic spirit. I needed a love only you could give me. I needed my son,” she captioned the sweet post.
The duo are instead sticking to co-parenting their son and daughter True, 5.
Tristan stays present in his children’s lives and recently showed up to his son’s first birthday bash.
Kardashian’s heartfelt tribute comes after she admitted during Season 3 of her hit Hulu show, that raising Tatum has been a roller coaster of emotions as she struggled to connect with him.
“The connection… took days with True. With him, it’s taking months and we still don’t have a complete bond,” she admitted during an episode of the reality show in June.
She further opened up about the surrogacy process, referring to it as a “mind f–k” and “transactional.”
“I felt really guilty that this woman just had my 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢,” Kardashian confessed. “I take the 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢 and I go to another room and you’re sort of separated. It’s such a transactional experience ’cause it’s not about him.”
