After their ugly breakup, they disagreed on how to divide the $2 million house they bought together, but they still shared a roof.
The dispute between Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix over their Los Angeles property has now been revealed to fans thanks to a deleted episode from Vanderpump Rules.
In the sequence, 41-year-old Sandoval disclosed to the filmmakers that he made a $600,000 cash offer to Madix, 38, for the house.
“I will give you $600,000 cash,” was the message in an email that Sandoval had sent to Madix two months earlier, which he read to the producers. The math indicates that this buyout is the same as us selling the house for $3.1 million, which is significantly more than the valuation listed on Redfin and Zillow and unquestionably more than market value.
“By refinancing this house and removing her name from the loan, the monthly payment will increase from $10,000 to over $20,000.”

Sandoval’s assistant Ann Maddox was taken aback by his offer.
‘And you can afford that?’ she inquired.
‘For six to eight months,’ he replied. ‘I got myself in this mess. I just wish we could go back.’
Ariana and Sandoval split due to his infidelity — a scandal appropriately dubbed Scandoval — but still lived in the house together as they had not resolved how to split the property.
The couple were together for nearly 10 years until Sandoval engaged in an affair with their friend and Vanderpump Rules castmate, Rachel Leviss.
Madix has since purchased a home in the Hollywood Hills for $1.6 million.
Previously, Madix sued her co-star and now-ex in early January over their $2 million Valley Village home, which they co-own.
Months after their separation, she filed a suit in the Los Angeles Superior Court for a ‘partition by sale’, according to documents obtained by DailyMail.com.
According to the documents, the former couple do not see eye-to-eye on how they are to split up the property.

They read that Ariana wants a ‘partition by sale’ which essentially means that she wants a judge to order them to sell the home in order to divide the proceeds.
What she is fighting against is a ‘division in kind’ which would allow each of them to retain their ownership interest in the property which could lead to one of them theoretically selling to a third party.
The pair had bought the home in the greater LA area for about $2million back in 2019.
In January, Sandoval called her ‘petty’ for turning down his seemingly fair offer on the property.
‘Ariana is making it out to be that me wanting to keep the house is a psychopath move, but it’s not,’ the singer said on Nick Viall’s The Viall Files podcast.

He explained: ‘She’s like, ‘Oh, he gave me a s**t offer. I gave her an offer of $3.1 million. We bought our house for $2.05 [million]. … I gave her an offer to buy her out.’
Sandoval went on to claim that Madix, who had just begun her starring turn as Roxie Hart in Chicago on Broadway at the time, ‘hasn’t paid a single bill for this house in eight months’ and hasn’t lived in their home for ‘two or three months.’
‘She’s being petty and she doesn’t want me to have the house,’ he alleged. ‘That’s the petty [move]. ‘I am breaking up with you, and I don’t want anybody to have [it].’
The TV personality added: ‘It’s [like] flipping over the Monopoly board. That’s it. It’s like, ‘I’m losing at Monopoly, so I’m going to flip the Monopoly board over.’ That’s what it is.’
