Homelander is the main villain in Prime Video’s smash series The Boys, and he has swiftly become one of the most recognizable, despised, and popular figures in the media. Homelander, played by Antony Starr, is a portrayal of a regular guy with abilities, and unlike many supervillains who seek world dominance and power, Homelander desires to be loved. He is a terrible human being, but he will go to any length to portray himself as a true hero to the public and media. While domination and power are intrinsic to his ambition, they are not his primary focus.
An unique character with a little known past, and his name is revealed to be John. Homelander has many secrets that not only he, but others, are keeping from him. Being Soldier Boy’s biological son and having his own kid, Ryan, he eventually decided to join him after a disagreement with Butcher. At the end of Season 3, Homelander blatantly murders a Starlight fan who attacks Ryan with a can, and his supporters praise him on, setting up The Boys Season 4 to feature an incredibly wicked Homelander.

With heroes like The Deep, who just want to be loved by Homelander, and new heroes such as Valorie Curry’s Firecracker and Susan Heyward’s Sister Sage, who look to walk into The Seven as the new faces of terror.
Homelander is essentially inciting a civil war between Superman and civilians. They either obey and assist the Supes, or they will perish, as evidenced by Firecracker’s demand for “hunting season on Starlighters.” A-Train appears to be the only Supe in The Seven that is questioning himself, since fans have witnessed his inner turmoil since Season 1. Will A-Train join The Deep in spewing fury on Homelander, or will he finally grasp what The Seven has become? Where do the new characters from Generation V stand with The Seven?Cate and Sam were spared by Homelander and are likely to do anything he asks of them.
Victoria Neuman, also known as The Head Popper, is expected to target any potential rivals to her vice-presidential run, which could also put Robert Singer’s position in jeopardy. She may go after him to consolidate power and position herself as the leading candidate in the presidential election. Homelander will probably serve as the primary advocate for their candidacy and as the spokesperson for the Supes on the grandest platform in America, and this situation seems to be inviting trouble.

Season 4 of The Boys will presumably begin with Homelander’s trial for murdering a Starlighter in broad daylight.According to the teaser, this trial will end with Homelander getting off and using the trial and assistance to actually become invincible. Victoria Neuman is likely to rally behind Homelander and portray him as a martyr in the eyes of the public. This will give Homelander a powerful platform to deceive and influence the people.
Supporters of Homelander and Neuman will clash with Starlighters, causing a schism in America unlike anything seen in “The Boys.” Homelander will be at his most powerful with Vought and The Seven by his side, as his words have never had as much influence.His propaganda efforts will be so potent that the divide in America makes it look like Homelander or Starlight will wind up on the wrong side of history. And the support for Homelander translates into additional support for Neuman, with Neuman and Singer perhaps winning the presidency.

Now that Homelander is at the peak of his dominance, the reappearance of Soldier Boy would drive him into a state of fear and paranoia, as he would be terrified of losing everything he has worked so hard to achieve. Jensen Ackles was also spotted wearing a “The Boys Season 4″ cap, which many have speculated could mean a return of the controversial hero, as he also made a surprise cameo in Gen V during a dream sequence in the episode “Jumanji”. The appearance of this beloved character in Gen V seemed to serve a purpose beyond just pleasing fans. It might be a hint at a significant return of Soldier Boy, potentially with far-reaching consequences.
