Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese has been at the center of much sports media discussion over the past few days.
Much of this pertains to her teammate Chennedy Carter shoving Caitlin Clark to the ground during Saturday’s game, then how Reese defended Carter during their shared media availability session on Monday.
Not to mention Reese’s comments about how she deserves just as much credit at Clark for bringing attention to women’s basketball, which she also said during Monday’s media availability.
All of which is to say that Reese has been portrayed negatively by the media throughout the past few days.

But Reese turned the tables on Tuesday, putting her haters in their place by sharing an academic achievement she earned from LSU.
Reese reposted an image of her winning an LSU Student-Athlete of the Month Award for June 2024 on X.
The caption writes, “And she was the student of the month at @LSU for the month of June but I understand that doesn’t fit the narrative people are still working overtime to create.”
“When the hate is the highest…,” with a crown emoji.
This post should quiet all discussion about Reese’s academic performance at LSU.
