Oprah Winfrey has demonstrated that she knows how to toss an exceptional birthday festivity. The star as of late regarded her closest companion, Ava DuVernay, as she turned 50 on August 24.

The well known moderator shocked his closest companion with a bunch of newly taken roses and whisked her out to a three-day festivity in Maui.

The two have been companions for around 10 years and dealt with many undertakings together consistently, like Disney’s A Flaw In Time.

Oprah uploaded a video onto her own Instagram page which showed her holding a vase full of sunflowers along with a card in her hand.

In the clip, the television producer stated that she had, ‘fresh picked sunflowers from my garden just this morning.’

The star should have been visible strolling to Ava’s front entryway and enthusiastically saying without holding back, ‘Ava DuVernay, it’s your birthday!’

The honor winning producer opened her entryway while wearing an agreeable robe with a shocked look all over to see her closest companion close to home.

The author added a caption to her post, explaining how the two first met and detailed their long-lasting friendship.

Oprah began by stating that she first discovered Ava after being introduced to a film called, Middle Of Nowhere.

‘I googled who directed the movie because I had not heard of Ava DuVernay at the time,’ she typed. ‘There was this beautiful photograph of this lovely Black woman who was wearing glasses just like me. I thought, I want to be her friend!’

‘And here we are, almost a decade into our friendship and bringing in @ava’s 50th year on planet Earth. In honor of this life event, we gathered her family and friends and celebrated in Hawaii last week.’

Following the initial segment of the birthday surprise, Oprah whisked Ava away to a three-day party in Maui to ring in turning 50 appropriately.

In a different post on the Oprah Everyday Instagram page, a video showed a speedy look at Ava and her companion having a ton of fun toward the beginning of the tomfoolery stuffed merriments in Maui.

The maker should have been visible wearing a long, lively yellow dress with the sun setting behind her.

She was remaining before a mouthpiece with Oprah close by as her nearby loved ones joined her on the picturesque island.

During her quick speech, Ava could be heard saying, ‘This is the first official day of a three-day extravaganza, hosted by the hostess with the mostess.’

Oprah, who donned a long, flowing white blouse and white pants, suddenly jumped into frame with her arms held out as everyone gave her a quick round of applause.

‘I ask God what did I do to deserve this gathering of people, coming from all the places that you did to be here with me on these days,’ Ava continued.

‘And what did I do to deserve a friend who would create this moment for us all,’ the television producer added.
